Fabulous day in St Lucia with Fabian

We booked a private Island tour via Venture Ashore Excursions before our cruise and this was handled efficiently by them, We arrived in St Lucia on Celebrity Edge and were delighted with the communication from Fabian who sent me a text the day before to confirm. He met us off the ship on time and took us everywhere on the itinerary that we had chosen and booked and so much more. Fabian is a really knowledgeable, friendly and professional driver and tour guide. We had a truly fantastic day with Fabian, much nicer that being on a coach of 50 people via the cruise line. I would highly recommend Fabian. Nothing was too much trouble and he made sure we were back to the ship with plenty of time to spare.

Terrific Full Day Tour of St. Lucia

Terrific full day tour of St. Lucia with Fabian and Natasha. Natasha was waiting for us upon exiting the cruise ship and Fabian picked us up shortly thereafter. They asked what we wanted to see and do and planned the day accordingly. They narrated our drive throughout the island, providing great insight. We hiked to see the Pitons, visited a waterfall, stopped for a delicious lunch and even an impromptu rum tasting. Great day all around.

Would highly recommend Fabian for all your tours whilst on the beautiful island of St Lucia. Easy to contact and always on time, his vehicle is spacious and clean.

Our family of four used him for our airport transfers and a one day tour from Gros Islet to the Rabot Estate (Via the Diamond Botanical Gardens and Waterfall). St Lucia's roads are quite challenging but Fabian was able to put us at ease with his calm negotiation of the island's roads with it's numerous twists and turns.

Friendly and knowledgeable, Fabian was happy to answer any questions we had, providing interesting information about St Lucia's culture and landscape. Making stops in order for us to sample the local cuisine.

A friendly, efficient, affordable and honest guide. Thanks Fabian

Fabian Tours Is The Best!

We highly recommend Fabian Taxi / Tours Service. Our plane was 3 hours late and when we arrived, Fabian was waiting for us with our name on a sign, easy to find in an airport we had not been in before...excellent service! He took us to our resort safely and efficently in a nice, clean new van. On our return to the airport he arrived early and went out of his way to take us on a site seeing tour and still arrive several hours early to the airport! There was a miscomunication on our part on our departure date. He arrived a day early to pick us up with no additional charge Competitively priced! Great service! We will use him every time we go to St. Lucia! Highly recommend!

Great day of sightseeing on St. Lucia

Fabian took my family on a guided tour of St. Lucia. He was very knowledgeable about thevhistory as well as the local culture of the island. We got to try several of the local cuisines along the way. Our tour included great views of the Pitons and an extremely interesting experience in the mudbaths and a waterfall as well. Very highly recommended!

Friendly, attentive and knowledgeable guide and driver

Fabian was our driver during a stay near Castries over a week-long period. He drove us to many locations around all the regions of the island, including Sulphur Springs & waterfall, Soufriere, Sugar beach, Tet Nature trail, Rodney Bay/Gros Islet area, Pigeon Island, Sandy Beach on the southern end, to the international airport and around downtown Castries. As we drove between destinations, he made stops at scenic overlooks & shared information about each town and the local history/people and exports like bananas. We learned a lot on our trips. I especially appreciated that he invited me to sit in the front after a bout of motion sickness on a long driving day with many winding roads. He recommended a boat trip from Soufriere to Sugar beach that we hadn’t planned and was a great mid-day break, as well as local restaurants that were delicious and not touristy. Another highlight was introducing us to ‘local bakery’ items along roadsides like cassava bread, coconut bread, and the local clay oven breads. We also chatted about music we were interested in and it was fun to witness his friendly waves and honks to friends as we traveled around the island. Sherno is a guide & was associated with our VRBO and joined Fabian & us a lot of the time (although I don’t think they are in the same company). The two of them worked together to make our time in St Lucia very memorable & special.

Driving tour with Fabian

We didn't personally book with Fabian, more that we booked with the contact from our VRBO and the day before the tour we learned it would be Fabian doing the driving. We had pretty loose planning so it's not a big deal that we didn't know what all stops would be on our driving tour.

To be clear, this was a driving tour with stops that were both big plans based on what we had expressed (beach, mudbaths, Tet Paul Nature Trail hike) and short stops at overlooks, vendors, and such. Not a walking tour at each site. Fabian would hook us up with whatever we wanted to do or see.

A stop at a vendor for cassava bread (get the cherry raisin or cinnamon!) was a nice treat. Another stop was to look more closely at banana trees and learn more about them (the plant, the export industry, the history). After that, he wanted us to shop at the vendors there but if you've already spent time at the Castries Central Market then you really don't need to shop at these vendors. We asked Fabian to limit the shopping stops because we weren't interested.

Throughout the driving tour we asked Fabian TONS of questions about St. Lucia, the people, the history, the industries on the island. Fabian was ready with answers and easy to talk with.

The beers and rum punch that Fabian had in a cooler for us was a surprise to me (us?) so we didn't try to empty his stock. (I read another review that was upset that he didn't have unlimited booze.) It did take a little coaxing to get him to get the drinks out for us.

We had Fabian as our driver for multiple trips during our week in St. Lucia, not just the big "all around the island" day. Sometimes our VRBO contact Sherno was in the car with us so it was nice to have both men to bounce questions off of. Both very friendly and ready to provide anything you ask.

Maybe it was because our itinerary was flexible but a couple times we were approaching a site and weren't given much heads up on what we were doing. One of those, the hike, we got out to assess the situation and Fabian drove off. Some of us didn't have appropriate shoes on and had to wait for him to come back. We didn't have Fabian's phone number since we didn't make the booking directly through him so we were at a loss. But he showed up a few minutes later. This would have been my only reason to provide a lower rating but it doesn't overshadow the lovely driving tour we got.

Fabian took my sisters and friends and I on a wonderful day in St. Lucia. We traveled from Castries to Soufriere and back again while he showed us and told us all about his beautiful island. He was patient and attentive, making sure we were comfortable and were making the most of our day. I highly recommend Fabian!
