A wonderful group of instructors and dive guides. I did 3 2-tank dives with Jason and his team and they are among the best I have come across in 20+ years of diving.
They have 2 large dive boats and they can reach most dive sites south of Tortola.
I highly recommend these folks!!

I went scuba diving with this company. They are the best. We went diving at the RMS Rhone. This was my first time doing a scuba dive at a shipwreck. Wow what an amazing experience. Everyone at the dive shop is professional but fun at the same time.

We met SCD staff while mooring at Cooper Island, and used them primarily for tank refills…which were great and efficient. But what stays with us is that even though we weren’t using them as guides, they freely shared info on local dive sites and even helped us find the best mooring at the Rhône. Next time, we’ll use them as guides for a few dives…we recommend them highly.

Ok, so, an aging 56 year old who certified over 20 years ago and then life got in the way. I came to Tortola to work for a year and decided to rekindle my love of diving. I choose Sail Caribbean on the recommendation of a local friend. Their immediate efforts to encourage and support was second to none, and made me feel confident in the water again. So much so, when my children (adults) visited I put my trust in them to take them on a DSD day. My eldest is now a certified diver in her own right and looking forward to diving with her Mum. The knowledge of the Dive masters of the dive sites are great and they seem to know how to find things.
I can not recommend this company highly enough, I dived with another company for a month due to the children’s Summer camp, then it felt like coming home when I returned and did my last dives on the island with them. I wish you all the very best. Samantha

Jason and the gang are the best! We were a day late getting off the dock and I had forgotten that our dives were scheduled for Tuesday. We did not get there until Wednesday. Jason called the morning we were scheduled to see where we were. When I contacted him he said no issues, he would put us on the boat for Wednesday morning. The boat was roomy, well organized, and well outfitted. I am a pretty fair gauge of those items as I have worked in the dive industry for 25+ years. Absolutely fantastic operation and is one of the reasons they are a PADI 5 Star facility. Thanks gang, hope to see you next year.

We booked a 2 tank dive with Sail Caribbean Divers ahead of time for a visit to Tortola through Holland America cruise line. Unfortunately, due to the ship not leaving our previous port until 2am (instead of 11pm), we were late getting in to Road Town. I was able to reschedule through WhatsApp and the SCD team was still able to take my group of 13 out for a 1 tank dive.
They picked us up at Moorings Marina, across from the cruise ship port and a short 5 minute taxi drive away. The team got us on board, situated (they had labeled everyone's spot and any rental gear! so thoughtful!), and off into the ocean quickly. The Ship's Captain, Matt, and two DMs (Rika and Scott I think) were fantastic, helping everyone get weighted and ready to go for our dive on the HMS Rhone. We had a wonderful dive, and while a few folks had trouble with a bit of chop and current at the surface, both Rika and Scott were able to help them get the most out of their dive. And Matt kept those that had to surface early company on the ship.
We understand completely that they couldn't do a refund/discount despite losing out on a dive, considering we were cancelling with around 2 hours notice. They were still able to work with us and do the 1 tank dive, and we were incredibly grateful. We hope to get back to Tortola with more time and do more dives with them!

We did two trips, and 3 separate dives with Sail Caribbean Divers. We were excited to do a 2nd trip with them because the first had been so good.
They offer great service, and had our scuba kit all set up for us to go, and did the same for our 2nd tank dive. Fine to do ourselves, but appreciated they had this in hand. Good range of extra pieces to take out, including masks, fins, and zip up rashguards. They were consistent and thorough with the diving plan, and the safety review.
The wreck dive was the highlight; Jason took just the two of us (myself and SO) with him, and while I was nervous about the swimthrough inside of the wreck, Jason made it a no fuss proposition. He's also got a great eye and got us amazing sightings of giant spotted eagle ray, sharks, and turtles. Bears mentioning they also did all the hygiene stuff around discussion of weights, buoyancy checks once we got into the water, and safety stops.
Shout-outs as well to Rica, and Matt for being so much fun to dive and spend the day with on the boat. A great team with tons of chemistry and good humor.

First time visiting BVI and was very satisfied with the response from the dive shop,responded very quickly on info for a two tank dive. Had a great time, weather was overcast but both dives i had over 40ft. visibility. RMS Rhone is a must dive wreck site. Thank you Matt and crew for superb customer service,looking for to returning.

We just wrapped up our 3rd dive with Sail Caribbean Divers (SCD) and I can’t recommend them enough. My two daughters completed their open water dives required for their PADI Open Water Certification with Jack. He’s attentive, thorough, and fun - all the things you’d want in a certification diver for your kids. We also had Charlotte all 3 days - she’s quite considerate. Shout out, too, to Belgian Bill - our GoPro master. Both Captains Matt & Jason are great as well. We ended up diving the HS Rhône wreck (highly recommend) twice and it was interesting learning the different perspectives from the two Captains.
Thanks for the epic diving. We’ll definitely dive with SCD when we come back to BVI!

The team taught my 15 year old daughter her advanced open water diver course and my son his junior open water course. Both enjoyed it very much and you really felt that the instructors cared and were interested in the development of their students. As a former instructor myself casting a critical eye I really felt they had a good understanding, safe practices and knew how to make the whole process fun.

Celebrity cruise line has 2 snorkel excursions offered. Is this the “Half day snorkel” or the “Norman Island Snorkeling” We will be sailing in August and would like to do this.

This fits that bill. Again book through the excursions desk. It may cost 10-20% more than directly booking with this vendor, but it will allow for itinerary changes and transport to and from the vendor.

Sail Caribbean can store your gear for you if you bought your own equipment. I recommend to stay at The Tamarind Club up the road. Ask for Cindy. She's the owner. It's family owned so you'll also run into her daughter and son. Tell them Antonio from San Francsico, CA says hi.

I know some places can do a quick training to go scuba diving. I was wondering if that can happen for this trip or if you already need to be a certified diver. Thanks

Both of my kids were certified on "trips". They did the online book work at home. PADI does a nice job of online. They then spent 2 days doing the pool and open water diving when we were on vacation. Basically all the classroom before you go. All the water work when you are there. I would check with Sail Caribbean and see if that works for them. I would highly recommend them if they do. The team there is amazing and would provide great instruction and a great experience.
