we stopped at Tortola on our cruise. We would definitively spend more time in Tortola. Beautiful beaches and countryside, and felt very safe.

Very busy cruise port with lots of brightly painted buildings filled with souvenir shops, clothing and jewelry boutiques, bars, restaurants and, thankfully, free WiFi.

Stop here on the way into Tortola or on the way back to browse the good shops (reasonable prices) and enjoy great free wifi esp at the Bar/Cafe

We arrived in Roadtown on a Saturday and walked to the Pier park where the cruise ships dock. Unfortunately, all the shops and restaurants were closed because there was no cruise ship scheduled till Tuesday. We did enjoy the view of the Roadtown harbor from the dock and I'm sure it would be lots of fun when the shops and restaurants are open.

Nice place to pick up some island souvenirs, and some great Christmas decorations. Everyone was very friendly and nice, we had a nice time. They are some bars and food options in the area.

We can when the cruise ships were gone and the stores were very helpful. interesting variety of shops open.

Located parallel to the cruise port, my wife and I enjoyed our stroll around the area. It’s a fairly typical of Caribbean cruise ports and can get very busy. Once you’ve finished browsing it’s really only a short walk into Roadtown.

While there is not a lot of shopping here it is typical and similar to some of the other ports of call that we did on this trip.

Not a lot of shopping here but it has the basics for a cruise ship dock area. With it to get off the ship for a walk around. There are companies offering taxis and tours.

Definitely walking distance. Unless, of course, you are dragging luggage. The last time I was there they had a quiet bar at the moorings that met our needs.
