There were four of us. In the confusion of cruising to unfamiliar destinations the cabdriver took us to the wrong marina. Slackem motored over and picked us up and we caught two Barracuda. The four of us had a great time.
The guys were friendly, answered all of our questions, and everyone had a good time.

Spent a full day on the water with Capt Jon and Charlie. Had an amazing day in rough water. Right out of Camana Bay they put me onto fish. i caught several barracuda and three wahoo at 30, 23 and 50 lbs! These were my first wahoo and it couldn’t have been better. Cross that species off my bucket list. From my first contact through the entire trip Slackem Charters was exceptional! I can’t wait to het back on the water with them next year.

Had a great time fishing with Jon and Iris. They got us on the fish soon after we hit open water. We ended up landing 6 barracuda and 1 wahoo. (lost a dandy Tuna and also a wahoo as well) The Hatteras has obviously seen lots of time on the water, but its servicable, clean, and comfortable.

It was so nice to be able to charter your own trip. Iris and Darcy were our crew and both were great and took great care of us. They kept the boat super clean.
We didn't get fish we could keep, but got some barracuda. We got some time snorkeling in as we asked. I would definitely recommend this group if you want to fish, or don't want to be crowded on the bigger tourist boats.

This was awesome! They picked us up right by our condo on Kaibo Sunset! They were on time, ready to go. The deckhand, Charlie, was amazing and super attentive. The Captain, Jonathan, knew his stuff and helped us hook a giant Wahoo!! Can’t go wrong with these guys.

Captain Jon and primo were awesome! We did a half day trip and caught a few fish. Came hone with a wahoo! Must check out slackem fishing charters while in the caymans. And they were awesome enough to pick us up minutes from our rental house at Kaibo.

We loved meeting Captain Jon and Primo! They asked us what we wanted to do and then spent the hours doing just what we wanted. We didn’t catch any fish we could eat but we at least caught some and got that experience! It was a nice boat ride and snorkeling at a reef we couldn’t swim to made the day! Primo guided us around the reef pointing out fish and lobsters that we may not have discovered! He even took our camera for pics of sea life that we couldn’t dive down to see. Captain Jon was very friendly and knowledgeable about anything on the island. It was a wonderful adventure for the two of us.

Incredible trip fishing the deep blue seas of Grand Cayman!!! Capt. Iris and First Mate Charles were awesome!!! We caught two Mahi and two shark!! Then as recommended, took our Mahi to Over The Edge and had a wonderful lunch!! If you want to fish....these are your guys!! Thanks Slackem!! We’ll be back!!

Booked a half day trip with Captain Jon and Primo. Caught serval mahi mahi but one was a Monster. Had a great trip. It was so fun. First class outfit. Went with my 12,11, and 9 year old sons. So fun!

Took a half day solo charter primarily for Blue Marlin. Captain Jon and Charlie worked hard for me but alas nothing to show for their efforts except some feisty barracuda we caught to and from the deep sea. Found both crew to be extremely knowledgable and more importantly friendly and conversant. The conditions were perfect but the fish weren't interested. Highly recommend these professional fishers.

Was an all day charter too long?
I was wondering if we should do 1/2 day or full day?

It is so tough to answer that question unfortunately. It really depends on where the fish are. Some days half day are enough time but there are days that the fish are farther out and it’s not. For Marlin we always recommend a full day.

hello i need help my husband love fishing we wanted to get a charter but its expensive for 3 people we are 2 and one child, is there any cheap fishing option or how can i hooked up with other 6 more people, coz its 600$ to 800$ for 8 people. it dosent worth for only 3 of us to pay that much.
i was wondering if we can join the group with someone and pay half.
we are coming in January 8 2020

Do you offer mixed groups? My girlfriend and I would like to fish for a half day but can’t afford to charter an entire boat. We’d love to go in on a trip with other folks. If not, could you suggest somewhere that we could?

Yes for sure we work with the The. water Front Diner in Camana Bay. You get to meet the chef and speak with home and tell home how you would like it prepared
