We specifically went out looking for plantation ruins (it was Dad’s day to pick activities) and we were not disappointed. Bring good walking shoes as you’ll want to walk through the ruins and climb to hill. We did not meet the ghost.

I don't want to sound harsh or disrespectful but coming here was somewhat a waste of time if not for the fact that we were on a "circle the island" drive that day and it's hard not to enjoy your day on Nevis :) and since we were also on island time not seeing too much here didn't bother us too much either...
The reason why I gave this place some credit here as it does have a potential as it does come with some history and reading about it on the spot was interesting... though you can do that online and visually on the spot there is really nothing left to see at the moment - as someone mentioned before me it's in a desperate need of preservation
TIP: you do drive through a small street uphill off the main road and it feels for a moment like you may be entering someone's property but it's simply adjacent to this, what it used to be, a big estate area

Easy to find and park at close to a rum shop bar, the Eden Brown Estate is in a state of ruin. On a slope going up from the road are the ruins of the work buildings and further up is the house. There are information signs about the place. It has a really sad story and is a bit eerie.

This Heritage Site is in desparate needs of preservation. The grounds are so overgrown with vines and other plants that you can barely see it. Feeling on the adventurous side, we trampled through the overgrowth to open some shutters and crawl inside. If someone doesn't intervene soon, the place will literally fall down. It really is a shame that this site has been allowed to fall into such a state.
