We stopped at Buck Island to snorkel on a boat trip. The water was clear and warm. There was a variety of coral and turtles. We'll go back.

We did an excursion on Castaway Girl and had a great time enjoying the fresh air, the great crew. What I was disappointed in was the snorkel sight. It was gray rocks with very few fish around. What they described as a shipwreck was little more than a sunk boat. Take that there were many boats also there and it was not all that enjoyable.
On the positive side, we did see some sea turtles at the second stop.
Rum drinks flow freely on the sail back to port.

We had an excellent time with Captain Kyle, Dalton and the bar tender Andrea! They made it really fun! They’re very safe, very attentive and it’s obvious they love what they do. I’d easily recommend the group to anyone looking for a great, easy snorkel trip. The boat was clean, safe and fun. The crew was always cracking jokes and entertaining. I imagine they were all probably pirates in another life haha. Good time! Kyle also was able to give an amazing recommendation on a local restaurant that didn’t miss the mark in the slightest. All thumbs up!

We did a 3 hour snorkelling trip to Buck IsIand on Castaway Girl 4 (very good crew by the way). The island is a nature reserve so you are not allowed to step foot on it, $20,000 fine the captain told us. The coral has been devestated by hurricane activity over the past years and as a result is in poor condition, so as divers with lot's of reef experience this wasn't a great site for us. However, we did see two turtles and a large (1m+) Barracuda so it was a worthwhile trip. I would say if you are new to snorkelling/diver you will enjoy this trip emensly, if you are a seasoned snorkeler/diver it is OK, but don't expect too much. Worth the distraction if you are on a crusie and want to get into the real water.

We went to Little Buck Island with Captain Z on Heavenly Days and had a great time. A definite "go see" if you're in St. Thomas.

You'll find sea turtles (!!!), fish and coral reef to enjoy here. This is a protected island that no one can step foot on apparently, and the wildlife is obviously thriving here. If you can find an excursion to this island, I would highly suggest it. If you had to ask me, I would highly recommend the VI Cat adventure. That's the way to go.

First of all, this was a great boat (catamaran) totally enjoyed because we weren't to capacity so had lots of room. Water was choppy going out, but once we got to Buck Island the swim was great, saw several big turtles and wonderful blue fish! Our crew were very friendly, hospitable and professional. Although playful and fun, passenger safety was first and foremost. Will definitely go again and recommend to all.

Sailed with Captain Larry and his crew- Bob and Andrea. Excellent day. Visited two snorkeling sites. Rum punch on the way back. Would highly recommend

This island is remote and beautiful. We took a tour of the island and it is absolutely beautiful and unspoiled. Highly recommend for a day of leisure if you are cruising or a great place to find a resort. You must like remote.

The Crew of the Stars and stripes Catamaran were awesome! We left from the cruise port and cruised for about 30 minutes before getting to our first snorkeling spot. The water was gorgeous. We went to a second spot with a ship wreck that was not too deep. You could still make out some of the parts. We sailed on the way back to the ship, it was very fun and relaxing. The crew was awesome! defiantly recommend doing this!
