We get ice cream here every week (or sometimes twice if we are really, really greedy) - it is that good.
Some of the family always have the same flavour, some of us are more adventurous and work our way through them all.
If you haven't yet tried 'proper' ice cream yet, you have to make a visit and ask for some 'Just Ayrshire' - it is more than nice.
All in all, there is no better place for miles around to get ice cream.

We went as a part of a large family celebration, arranging to provide our own sandwiches with the expectation that guests would buy their own ice-cream, which they did - very happily! On such a hot day, it was a perfect arrangement. The provision of gazebos and chairs was much appreciated, as was the large car-park.

This place sells lovely ice cream. Lady was very friendly and chatty. She was a delight. Got a place at the back to sit with a lovely outlook on fields and a play area for children.

Fabulous ice creams. Menu changes frequently with seasonal specials. Can well recommend having visited a number of times.
Tip to customers - Cash only
Tip to owners- invest in a card reader (a friend uses one for her crafts and she says it's really useful)

Lovely fresh ice creams. Also got some eggs which were decent from here.

Congratulations on such excellent ice-cream. First visit but will definitely return to try more flavours. My rhubarb crumble - a new flavour to me - was delicious. Other half's choices - salted caramel and honeycomb - equally yummy.

Having to find a location for holding a child’s Birthday party during these times, has been a challenge. However the guys at Hitcham Dairy Ice cream were very accommodating. Thankfully the weather was ok!
The main reason was of course the fantastic quality of ice cream on offer! Particularly the salted Caramel!
All the kids were happy and was a successful get together.
Thank you and we will be back again! X

Perfect example of fresh ice cream. Array of delicious flavours accompanied by farm fresh local produce also.

Hitcham Dairy Ice Cream was open with social distancing measures when we visited in late May 2020. The outdoor seating area has been replaced with a queueing system with orders taken outside and delivered separately via the store window. It's £2.50 for one generous scoop, £3.50 for two, or £8.00 for an eight scoop takeaway carton, with flavours changing regularly. I can strongly recommend the sorbets which are delicious. Well worth a visit !
