I was in Krabi - Ao Nang in week 9 and had seen on Poseidon homepage that they had a dive “Superday” consisting of King Cruiser Wreck, Shark Point and Anemone Reef. I am an AOWD diver with 110 dives.
It had been very windy for a week, and it was first decided on the way out that it was Superday. We were only 4 divers, but Daniels decided to go anyway – Thank you Dan.
I was were collected at the Hotel, then a Longtail to the Boat, got all our equipment and sailed for about 2 1/2 hour. On the way we got a very good briefing on all the dive sites we were diving at.
I could write many pages about what we saw ( 2 sharks) – fantastic – but I will leave that to other people.
The fantastic thing about this dive was that everybody was so enthusiastic about diving even the instructors and owner. I have dived in many dive centres and many of them are dive factories.
This dive centre was very special and good for divers – it has the right sprit – I had such a nice day.

Meine Freundin und ich suchten ein dive center für ein paar Tauchgänge rund um Ao Nang. Dabei sind wir auf Poseidon Dive gestoßen und haben es nicht bereut. Die Tauchschule wird von Daniel, einem Deutschen, sehr professionell geführt. Wir hatten insgesamt 6 Tauchgänge vom Boot aus und es war einfach nur toll. 2 Tauchgänge auf Koh Phi Phi und 4 auf den lokalen Inseln. Anfangs waren wir mit dem Guide Andreas unterwegs und dann später mit Daniel. Es wurde sehr darauf geachtet, dass wir die Zeit unter Wasser komplett ausnutzen, meist 60 Minuten und manchmal auch etwas länger. Wir haben soviel gesehen, dass ich all das gar nicht aufzählen kann, Zebra Shark, Seeschlangen, Rochen, viele unterschiedliche Schnecken und Würmer - ein Makro-Paradies. Die Verpflegung auf dem Boot war auch sehr gut (Getränke, Obst, Curry und Nudeln zum Mittagessen). Auch wichtig und schön zu sehen, wie eingespielt das Team ist und wie sehr auf die Umwelt geachtet wird (wenn nötig wurden Korallen von Resten von Netzen oder Angelleinen befreit). Wir können Daniel und sein Team nur empfehlen und sollten wir wieder mal hier sein, sehen wir uns wieder. Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit über und unter Wasser. Gut Luft. LG Robert und Marianne.

Уже четвёртый год ныряю с этим ДЦ и очень надеюсь, что не последний :-)
Отличная команда увлечённых профессионалов, удобный, пусть и не очень скоростной, бот. Снаряжение новое, в очень хорошем состоянии. На борту имеется мощный компрессор, поэтому обычно нет необходимости в замене баллона - его наполняют прямо на месте.
Настоятельно рекомендую!

As a solo traveller, I have planned my trip to Thailand few months in advance. I researched all local diving centres in Ao Nang and came across Poseidon. Loved the fact that they care about the maritime life and the environment. I have enquired about CMAS * course and they’ve replied immediately (despite big time difference) and my course was booked. When I got to Ao Nang, I visited the centre few days prior my course, Danny was very welcoming and explained few things before the start. I was very lucky as I had 1:1 course and my instructor Andy was amazing, very patient, really friendly and welcoming. They looked after me really well and helped childhood dream come true! I had amazing 5 dives around local islands, seeing wonders of the underwater world! Corals, fishes, sharks and sea snakes and much much more! I was gutted, I couldn’t make any other dives with them as I had my trip fully packed with excursions and site seeing. I highly recommend this diving centre as guys are absolutely amazing! I’ll be definitely coming back to this area and dive with them again!

We, a group of 3 people, begun diving at this diving center in early 2017. Andy was our instructor and we made the CMAS 1 Star course. After the thought us about the gear, we did our first "dive" in a pool. I found this a very appropriate location for the first diving attempts since it was familiar to me. This and due to the very good instructions by Andy, I was able to eliminate all concerns I had for good reasons. We have been told that possible problems could be solved the fastest underwater and there is no need to go to the surface immediately. These good explanations where very helpful and way more effective than just some information like that it might be dangerous if one does an uncontrolled ascent to the surface.
Andy was always there when one of us needed some help, be it due to bad bouyancy or the like. Furthermore, he brought in just the right balance between sedateness and seriousness.
The other dives of the course we started from the boat. They were also very nice and we already could begin seeing and enjoying the underwater life. What is not the expectation I had when doing this course but made me very happy as well was the extremely delicious Thai food they brought to the boat. This was a very nice side-effect and a good opportunity to get to know the Thai kitchen better.
For the final exam, we were at the diving center and met Daniel, it's owner. He is also very kind and well experienced. We had a really great time with him as well.

Habe meinen CMAS * / OWD bei Daniel gemacht. Grandioses Erlebnis. Besonderes Dankeschön an Gary für die perfekten Briefings und Ruhe bei den Übungen. Tauchboot, Crew, Essen waren Klasse und die Tauchspots perfekt!

Am ersten Tag meiner dreitägigen Tauchausbildung wurde mir zugesagt, dass ich im Anschluss an die Ausbildung BIlder von dieser erhalten würde. Leider ist inzwischen klar: Diese Bilder gibt es nur, wenn man eine gute Bewertung im Internet abgibt. Meine Ausbildung ist über einen Monat her und ich habe den Besitzer der Tauchschule mehrfach! darum gebeten, mir die Bilder zukommen zu lassen. Die Antwort ist, ich solle eine gute Bewertung im Internet verfassen! Das gute an diesem Verhalten ist, dass ich nun endlich verstehe, weshalb die Tauchschule so extrem gute Bewertungen hat. Dies war mir nämlich vorher unverständlich, doch wenn man gezwungen ist, positiv zu berichten, um die Bilder zu bekommen, klar, dass manch einer da eine Meinung vertritt, die er sonst vielleicht gar nicht hätte..
Leider kann ich guten Gewissens keine so gute Bewertung abgeben. Erstens, weil ich es verabscheue, wenn man auf diese Weise positive Bewertungen sammelt, anstatt zu versuchen, gut zu sein (dann schreiben die Leute nämlich freiwillig positive Bewertungen) und ich deshalb niemandem diese Schule empfehlen würde und zweitens, weil ich die Tauchschule leider nicht als so gut empfunden habe, dass ich eine positive Bewertung abgeben könnte.
Leider kann ich guten Gewissens keine so gute Bewertung abgeben. Wir haben zwei Tauchgänge nach Koh Phi Phi mit Der Poseidon Tauchschule gemacht und waren super zufrieden.
Tauchen war super, besonderes lob hierbei an Andreas, der uns zuvor gebrieft hat und wärend der Tauchgänge begleitet hat.
Auch rund um das Tauchen, das Boot war gut und das essen lecker

Nous avons préparé notre semaine de plongée avec attention et sélectionné à l’avance le club Poseidon pour le bon contact que nous avions préalablement eu et le fait qu’un dive master francophone était disponible.
Deux semaines avant de partir plus moyen de contacter le moniteur francophone. En contactant le centre on nous répond qu’il est malade.
Le jour de notre arrivée nous nous rendons sur place et on apprend :
- que le moniteur francophone est toujours malade
- que la visibilité pour le moment est mauvaise
- que c’est très calme
- qu’il ne sortira sans doute que le lundi sur toute notre semaine.
Dégouté nous sommes allé voir ailleurs. Cet autre club (nom en message privé si vous le voulez) nous aura emmené à koh phiphi pour 5 jours de plongées là où la visibilité est bonne.

When doing the 3 dive superday offer, do I need to be certified scuba diver?

Yes you need to be a certified diver and actually have a few previous fun dives on top of your license. a minimum of 20 logged dives and not later than 1 year ago would be suitable.
