This was our first experience diving in Roatan. We came in on a cruise ship and Gary helped us get everything arranged so it was seamless. Everything was so smooth from the cruise port to the dive shop. At the shop, Mary and Captain Joey were fantastic from the moment till the taxi dropped us at the shop until it picked it up for the ride back to the ship. Mary was so fun and made the above and below water experiences outstanding. The dive sites were great and tailored to our experience. We will be back in the future and will choose Roatan Dive Center again. We have dived in many places and these guys are in the top few operations we've used.

Fantastic customer service! Great experience with both the owners and the scuba diving instructor going above and beyond! Quick email responses and followup. Easy to book as a dive during our cruise vacation port day in September 2022. They took excellent care of our small group, which included both some certified divers and some discover scuba participants. They arranged for us to dive together, which was fantastic. Out of the four discover scuba dives I've done over the years, this one was the best I've ever been on.
Unfortunately, a member of our party came down ill during the check-in. The owner drove him and I back to the port and waited for me to get him settled to take me back. He was so helpful and it was such a relief.
I'd recommend this dive center for sure! Thank you Roatan Dive Center!! We'll be back next time we make it to Roatan!

They are great. 5 stars all day. This was the 2nd time with them. My cruise was rerouted due to a tropical storm so my scheduled dive on another island was a no go. As soon as I got the new itinerary at the terminal, and saw Roatan, I got on messanger with Gary at Roatan Dive Center. He quickly responded letting me know I would be diving with them. We did have concerns with arrival, times changing as they did, but again he assured me we would be diving. Arrival was after the boat went out for the 1st dive but again he said not to worry. After arrival I went to the meeting spot and RDC's driver was waiting. Once there, Gary got my gear ready and we chatted until Divemaster Mary and Capt Joey came back in to get me during the surface interval of the 2 divers already on the boat. Then out we went for a great reef/wall dive. During the next surface interval Capt Joey took us back in to drop off 2 divers, then took Mary & Me back out for my 2nd dive. This was a great dive with Mary pointing out numerous critters. Mary is great at finding the smallest of creatures, her photographs are pro quality as well. RDC is awesome, very accommodating, friendly, and a pleasure to dive will. RDC is my Roatan dive connection.

Gary & Mary were flexible and very accommodating. Dives and sites were tailored to conditions and skill set. Mary, our dive guide, has a wealth of local knowledge; she and Capt Joey took care with equipment and divers. Mary was a Hawkeye underwater making sure that we noticed hidden marine life. She also help me with new dive technology I was using for the first time. We enjoyed diving at this side of the island just as much as West End and it was nice not being stacked with other dive boats. We did not stay at hotel onsite, but will next time. Food at restaurant on site was excellent. We truly enjoyed our time with RDC and will be back.

My expereinces with Roanoke Dive Center could not have been better, from quick responses to communication, fitting equipment in the shop with Gary, diving with Mary, and getting from the cruise port to RDC and back. This was the second time I have gone diving with them - the first was in DEC 2021. Look no further if you want a seamless day of diving from a cruise ship in Roatan!

We were visiting Roatan on a cruise ship 27 Dec. I checked with RDC to see if they could accomidate a snorkeler as well as a diver. They said no problem, so I booked a 2 reef dive and snorkel. They had a driver pick us up just outside the cruise area and take us to the dive shop. They have a little gathering area, a small beach their peir and boat all there. They equiped us and off we went. It was a short trip out to the 1st spot which had a 15 ft deep reef that was great for my wife to snorkel around and it dropped off to a nice wall. There was only myself and 1 other diver as well as the divemaster, nice and personal. The dive was faily effortless, no current, good visibility, seas were a bit rough so there was a little murk. Lots of sea life around. The dive was 46 min and very enjoyable. The 2nd dive after our surface interval was similar, 48 min and also vey enjoyable. The main highlights were a giant puffer and a huge green moray that took a liking to our divemaster. Overal very satisfied with the trip and we will be back. Later we recieved emails with the dive profiles and links to pictures. Great people there at Roatan Dive Center.

We just dove with Mary on Oct.6 while on the carnival Mardi Gras.Rather than dive on a crowded cruise excersion we went with them.Mary is the best divemaster i have dove with in the caribbean.Her personal service and effort to find the best dive spots are exceptional.When my wife had an issue and needed to surface Mary took such good care of her,and you have no idea what that meant to me.If you want the best care and small dive groups this is who you want to go with.Thank You Mary and Gary for the best dives we have had in Roatan.

Gary & Mary are the best! Personal service, experienced divers, great dive sites, small groups, safety focused, and they know where all the cool critters hide! Wonderful people! I spent a month diving with them on over 25 dives. Gary is a thorough and knowledgeable instructor with decades of experience teaching. I earned my Rescue Diver cert under Gary, and feel well trained and capable of functioning in any emergency situation. I will return someday and get my Dive Master cert under his instruction. Mary is vert capable Dive leader and is an amazing photographer as well. She knows where to look for the rays, sharks and turtles, but also spots the tiniest of creatures making each and every dive memorable and a few epic! She dives almost every day and yet still exudes a joy for even the smallest of things she discovers underwater. They clearly love what they do and that adds so much to the experience. I highly recommend Roatan Dive Center!

Gary has been teaching for 22 years and Mary his wife is by far the best divemaster you could ever ask for. Between the two and the boat captain this is concierge diving at its finest! We were completing our diving certification and Gary made sure to instruct us before each dive so we understood what to do underwater. We also completed our two night dives with Gary. He took all the uneasiness out of our first night dive. The sea life and the coral walls were spectacular! We dove a 120 ft. wreck in 50-60 feet of water. A must experience! On our boat rides to the sites we shared stories and had some great laughs . I cannot say enough about our dive experience with Gary and Mary. We will be back next year to dive with them again. love to you both, The Mahoney's.

Excellent full service operation with a dock for easy loading and unloading. This is the only dive shop on west bay that offers this type of loading. 2nd half of open water PADI course was completed here and the staff and dive masters were exceptional. Thank you to Mary (The Boss), Sarah, Joey and Gary for making our Roatan dive adventure so amazing. Hope to see you again soon!
