Love my time at Ski Paradise! I’ve gone as a skier and non skier and had such a good time! The Villa, the food, the coaching and the friendships made are the best! Being taken care of while in paradise is my idea of vacation!

My wife and I had the pleasure of skiing the week of Jan 27, 2018. It was my second trip in 11 years. It was her first time ever (she was not able to ski this time). The guest coach was Thomas DeGasperi. The in-house coach was Mike Kusiak. Coaching from both was excellent. Skiing on the lagoon was always good. The stay at the villa was extraordinary. Gordon and Gabriela always make us feel like we are staying at our favorite uncles. Just a very welcoming and friendly environment. The short guest list, 11 guests, provided a group of like-minded folks that clicked immediately.
Of the 11 guests only 3 were running the full course, a couple were running the mini-course, the rest in open water. At the end of the week, everyone agreed a return trip would be a great idea.
This is a trip every serious skier should make at least once, but the non-skiers had a blast too. Hanging out at the lake, surfing at Bonfil, walking along empty beaches of soft sand and warm water, boat rides to watch cliff diving, and riding the longest zipline you'll ever see.
What a great time.

My wife and I just got back from a week at ski paradise, what a great experience. The ski lagoon is perfect, glass every morning. The chairs on the dock are in the Sun all day and there is plenty of shade inside the palapa.
The coaching was amazing, not only for myself as a course skier, but also for my wife who learned how to deep water start for the first time. Another great aspect is when you are in the boat skiing - there is no "clock" or time slot allotted, with 2 boats constantly running there is plenty of ski time for everyone, so you can take you time, rest and get coached up after each pass. I chose to ski 2 sets per day to pace myself, others skied as much as 5 sets a day.
The villa up in the hills is amazing as well, we were in room 7 which was awesome, although we never really used the living room area. All of the rooms are really nice, we checked them out at the end of the trip. If you go to bed early, try and avoid rooms 6 & 8 as they are closer to the bar and pool area.
Food was really great - far exceeded my expectations. The meals served at the Villa were best I have ever had on vacation.
The group is small - we had 17 including the coaches which close to max I believe, great camaraderie and friendships made, everyone is really supportive regardless of your level.
If you want to build in a rest day - on Wednesday the crew goes to this amazing beach front resort post skiing to hang out and have dinner, next year we will opt to spend the whole day at the resort and meet up with the rest of the crew at dinner time.
The Acapulco experience was great - what a beautiful place. If you love waterskiing and want to escape the cold, this trip needs to be on your bucket list.

Ski Paradise is the ultimate vacation destination for waterskiers of all abilities. The accommodations are second to none, food is delicious and the waterskiing simply can't be beat!

Way superior to any other water ski-vacation deal you could find, since your arrival at the airport, till your airport transportation to get to your flight back home they will arrange every detail so your stay gets to be as confortable as you can imagine, amazingly kind Villa staff, high-quality water ski coaching, an awesome Villa, the best cuisine in Acapulco just to mention some of the highlights of the Ski Paradise experience, strongly recommended, great place for water ski lovers

Just returned home from a solo trip to Ski Paradise. The kindness, courtesy, professionalism, amount of skiing, Great coaching, wonderful food and accommodation,,,, is all true and more...As a group of wonderful and gregarious people we all went Zip Lining on the longest Zip Line over water in the world...WOW!
Gordon and Gabriella are the best hosts you can ever imagine. Special food request are not a problem. Great shout out to coaches Jim Hammer and Tevin. Both spent a lot of time in the boats to help us all be better skiers.
Do not be worried to join these great people to have one of the Best Water Ski Vacations EVER! 5 Stars all the way!

Every review here is spot on – Ski Paradise is absolutely beyond ‘Five Star’ in accommodations, food, service, coaching… the works. But you certainly don’t have to be a hardcore water skier to love this place.
Our family vacations are typically focused around adventurous activities – scuba diving, river rafting, cycling, etc. And while my husband and three kids certainly enjoy recreational waterskiing, what they really love is the challenge and thrill of tackling a new skill. At Ski Paradise, that came in the form of a waterski course, and the improvement each made over the course of the week was remarkable. I’m not much of a water skier but I like to be busy and active, and there was plenty to keep me engaged the entire week. Our family unanimously agreed that it was one of our best family vacations ever, and we are already signed up for a return trip next year!

I'm not an avid skier the way many Ski Paradise guests are, but that didn't make my week in Acapulco any less wonderful. The skiing is only part of the story. Villa Aquina, where Ski Paradise guests stay, is just fantastic. All the meals are freshly made by a small, attentive kitchen staff. If you're thinking it will be lots of tacos and burritos, think again. I especially loved the big tray of tropical fruit and chilaquiles at breakfast. The dinners were amazing and beautifully presented. My husband and I were there during Thanksgiving week and on Thanksgiving Day a traditional meal was served--turkey, mashed potatoes, green beans, stuffing, etc.
The villa is in a gated neighborhood up on the hillside that is upscale and very safe. The view of Pacific Ocean from the villa is astounding. I know it sounds like I'm gushing, but I can't help it. There is a pool and hot tub on the rooftop deck, and built-in deep seating plus two bars. The guest suites are designed in tropical modern style with plenty of space and comfortable beds. There is a tropical shade garden with a waterfall on the ground floor. During the day I went shopping, hung out at the country club, had surfing lessons, and went into town to get a manicure. During the evenings all the guests hang out together, and because it is essentially a boutique hotel with a small number of suites, I had the opportunity to get to know everyone. All great people, from all around the U.S.
If you enjoy being in an exotic location and you like being active, this is an ideal vacation. I can imagine bringing my children here. It is the kind of place where families can fit in easily, and there were two other families with junior high and college age kids there during my stay.

Great accommodations, greatest hosts, for any skier at any level. If you're not a ski addict, you can easily become one. Coaches are excellent. All this and new friendships . We'll be returning next year.
