We decided on this salon because of the reviews on TripAdvisor and on Google reviews. The website states that all tools are sterilized/disinfected. I had a look around the salon after my pedicure and did not see any sterilization equipment. They also state that they only use OPI nail polish. Well, the nail polish that we were offered was old and very very Dirty around the cap. It’s cream that they don’t look after their nail polish very well. Both my friend and I ended up with a manicure that had bubbles in the polish and this was gel nail polish. Although the staff was really nice and friendly. They certainly do not stand up to their Use of nail polish and sterilization. The girl that did my manicure actually took her tools out of a cloth pouch. We will not be returning.

This is my go to place for pedicures in Mazatlan since we stay in El Centro. My husband and I showed for our appointment and were immediately attended to.
Everyone is very friendly. If you have special requests and do not speak Spanish there is always someone who can assist with translation. This is more of a beauty shop feel and not a spa, but it is clean, efficient and our basic pedicure met our expectations.

Booked a hair cut with Etna. She did a fantastic job. Then Sandy and I had magnificent massages from Vicki and Karla. Martha was an exceptional hostess. We went from the Riu Emerald Bay all the way there. Was well worth ride. Would recommend this place to everybody.

I went to get my haircut from long you short. She did an amazing job! So friendly and the atmosphere was relaxing. I felt safe and at home. I will definitely return! Thank you Debbie!!

Cute and clean nail salon on Osuna Sixto in the Olas Altas area. They always do a terrific job on mani/pedis. Today was no exception. Very friendly and welcoming staff too. We’ll see you on next visit!

Ever since I wrote my first review of Tippy Toes a few years ago I have continued to be an incredibly happy customer. I, and many others, became incredibly ‘unhappy’ customers when it was necessary for Tippy Toes to close a few months ago. We became members of the club of women all over the world who now have horror stories about their hair and nails.
Tippy Toes owner, Debbie, carefully researched the options that would ensure safety and comfort for her customers. She reopened recently and now, as you enter the salon, you step on a sanitation mat, have your temperature taken and are offered an FDA approved hand sanitizer.
If you are there for your hair, she provides adhesive masks so there is no fight with the strings over your ears. If you are there for a mani/pedi, she has hung plexiglass between you and the person doing your nails. If you are there for a massage or facial, staff uses face shields and masks. All the staff is certified in Covid and Salon sanitation via Barbicide. They use sanitation wipes between each client on all surfaces.
I’ve been back twice since Debbie re-opened and enjoy that same sense of absolute happiness at how my hair turned out. And, I realized that I’ve been taking the wonderful salon for granted all these years so I feel the need to pass the word that my experience was definitely safe and comfortable. What a relief on that note but the big relief is how my hair turned out. I also took advantage of the summer specials offered!

Just got my first haircut in 3 months with Deborah Rodriguez. I felt safe with the health protocols in place at the salon, everyone’s temperatures were taken, hand sanitizer was used, and everyone wore masks. I was given a stick on mask so she could cut all my hair, genius!
I feel pretty again!!

We were beyond impressed with our experience at Tippy Toes! I had the pleasure of being pampered with an Ultrasonic facial. Not only was the experience restorative, the results were amazing. Most notable was the plumping around my mouth and eyes. I feel five years younger!
I highly recommend treating yourself to the whole Tippy Toes experience: the ambience, the conversations, the quality of the services, cleanliness, and of course ask about Deborah Rodriduez’s Books. I’ll be back every time I visit Mazatlán!

Ultrasonic facial worked magic on my skin and pedicure turned travel worn feet into something pretty. Friendly staff and casual, welcoming vibe made this an affordable treat.

My daughter and I had yet another excellent experience at tippy toes. We had great pedicures. Friendly staff. I usually get an hour massage as well, which I highly recommend. They have a user friendly website where you can schedule your appointment after viewing services and prices. We will be back for sure.
