This is a huge park smack in the middle of the city! I loved all the greenery. I was so impressed at how clean it was. There were tons of vendors down walkways set up under their blue tents. Some were selling waters, others street food, and of course others souvenirs. Here, we found the cheapest prices on souvenir t shirts. It closed at dawn and the security guards manning the gates won’t let you in. It’s definitely a must!

El mayor parque urbano del Hemisferio Occidental. Alberga diversos museos, un zoológico, un jardín botánico, y varios lagos y esculturas. La mayor parte del lugar es seguro, aunque hay zonas menos transitadas.

Local é enorme, tem muitas atividades para pessoas de todas as idades.
Fomos em um domingo pela manhã. Muita família com crianças.
Tem um zoológico, lagos para andar de pedalinho, parquinhos e o Castelo de Chapultepec. Pequeno mas interessante .
O bosque é maior que o Central Park. No entanto, não é tão conservado e limpo como o de Nova York.
Há banheiros públicos. 5 pesos mexicanos para usá-los.
Estudantes não pagam.
Fomos em um domingo pela manhã. Muita família com crianças.

Este parque es un pequeño oasis en medio de una ciudad tan enorme y agitada, permite además de tener contacto con la naturaleza disfrutar de los varios atractivos que hay en este, como museos, un lago, ventas de diferentes mercancías y el observar las actividades que allí se realizan. Un lugar de relax, pero con la exigencia de caminar bastante.

I'm in awe at the size and beauty of this park.
Before going I read it didn't have anything to envy to other famous parks and it's completely true
This part has a lot of important places, lots of green areas, countless activities, it's easy to arrive and you feel completely safe while in there
Something I will say is that there are a lot of informal and street businesses all around. I don't want to mind people that want to earn their bread but some areas get loud, crowded, and unpleasant to walk into
Overall, a beautiful place. Mexico must be proud to have that green zone and I command how well treated it is.

In the whole city bike tour that we took we felt the most safe in this park. Less people walking around, lots of people in the grass enjoying, gave me a feeling like in Central Park in nyc. Good job to the Mexican government for keeping it clean, safe and enjoyable for everyone. There are also many nice stops for kids to learn about different animals’

Loved this park and the castle. There was so much more on offer than I originally thought so am definitely going back. Parking around it was hard to find.

Vamos a ir a conocer el parque con una persona de la tercera edad, pero no camina muy bien, alguien sabe si se rentan sillas de rueda o eléctricas para recorrer el lugar?

Hola, yo no vi que rentaran, es mejor llamar y preguntar, claro que para llegar aya tienen que caminar una falda larga, sería mejor que rentaran una silla de ruedas eléctrica.

Hay puntos de wifi en el parque
Hola, conocí el bosque en noviembre del año pasado y estare por alla de nuevo en abril. Esta vez solo estare de pasada por cdmx unas horas. Mi pregunta es si las ventas callejeras que me parecieron muy atractivas estan todos los dias o solo fin de semana.
Soy de Costa Rica y quiero traer recuerdos de ahi a mis amigos y familiares.

Buen día. El lugar es seguro, sin embargo por la cantidad de personas qué hay según las horas de alta demanda es bueno tener siempre las billeteras en la parte delantera del pantalón y no llevar grandes bolsos en el caso de las damas, en el lugar se ve la presencia de algunos agentes de seguridad en varios puntos del recorrido. Pero ojo recuerda que estás en una ciudad de mucho más de 20 millones de habitantes. Siempre hay que estar al pendiente. Saludos.

It's a huge park with several sections. Officially, it's wheel chair accessible and most of it probably is. However, there's lots of stone paths, steep hills, so-so ramps to negotiate, etc.
