Aquí se alberga la sede de la Facultad de Artes y Diseño de la UNAM, se encuentran talleres y cursos regulares además de los programas curriculares. En el mismo sitio hay una sede del CEPE de la misma Universidad y la casa original... es un lugar muy agradable al que se debe acceder en taxi...

Lugar digno de ser visitado, aunque es un centro de enseñanza que está en un proceso de restauración y adaptación de salones, brinda tranquilidad y te sientes a gusto, también tiene un jardín botánico, esta recuperando su esplendor por el cuidado y mantenimiento que se le esta brindando. Para mi parecer, es muy bueno que se le de utilidad a este tipo de edificaciones y no solo como museos.

I studied Spanish here, in 2007. I visit them every year, walk around the beautiful property and relax. It's a fascinating site - all the way back to Cortés. It's full of history and remarkable architecture. The school is very professional, friendly and helpful. Martha, the secretary, is delightful. Sofía, Alicia and Jorge are outstanding Spanish teachers. Kyle is an excellent English teacher. I got full credit, and transferred it back to Ohio State, as the school gives college credit through UNAM (la Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México. It's at the top of a hill, so you have to be ready to walk/hike a bit - good exercise!

This Hacienda was my wife's home when she grow up in Mexico as a child. Her Father Andres Sullivan also grew up in Taxco and his father "Sully" brought out the magic of this wonderful Hacienda as people from around the world would come to stay here and enjoy the beautiful town of Taxco. The Sullivan family sold the Hacienda to the government and has since come back to the U.S. They still travel to Taxco on occasion as they have a family member forever on the Hacienda del Chorrillo site. Sometimes, on a quite moonlit night her spirit can be seen walking the grounds she loved so dearly.

The public university of Mexico has a school for foreigners to learn Spanish there so we went to explore the possibility of studying there. The staff were very receptive, kind, and encouraging. The grounds are a little in disrepair, but in a charming sort of way. The pool is kept clean.

Es la primera hacienda de beneficio de plata que hubo en este continente. Hoy el inmueble está baho resguardo de la UNAM y ofrecen actividades culturales interesantes y de muy buena calidad todas las semanas. Ahí tienen también un jardín botánico hermosos, ideal para admirar sus colecciones y el paisaje de alrededor.

En muy buen estado, sobre todo la FAD de la UNAM. Es bonita toda la escuela, es decir visitar los talleres, la fauna.

Visitamos la ex hacienda de el chorrillo en nuestra visita a Taxco, sin embargo nadie nos indicó que por las fechas, la universidad está de vacaciones y no puedes ingresar a ver todas las instalaciones (es la escuela de artes plásticas de la UNAM).
Aún así alcanzamos a ver parte de las instalaciones y son bastante hermosas, aunque definitivamente nos hizo falta poder verlas en su totalidad (como su famosa alberca que exhibe el escudo universitario hasta dónde tenemos entendido).
Así que una recomendación es que valides que haya clases para que puedas visitar todas las instalaciones.
Aún así alcanzamos a ver parte de las instalaciones y son bastante hermosas, aunque definitivamente nos hizo falta poder verlas en su totalidad (como su famosa alberca que exhibe el escudo universitario hasta dónde tenemos entendido).
