The only dive center to choose in Cancun

Another wonderful day diving with Cancun scuba center.
We have visited from London many times, and Juan Carlos and his team are the only people to dive with.
We consider Juan Carlos now a lifelong friend.
Whether you have never been diving, or are very experienced you will be made to feel very welcome.
Safety is a priority, along with making everyone relaxed.
The team go above and beyond to help everyone in any way they need, and ensure everyone has an amazing time.
Juan Carlos is calm friendly and enthusiastic with every dive, and has a lifetime of experience to share.
We met Frank this year. Another asset to the team. Friendly, helpful and fun to dive with.
We will always be planning our next trip back to dive with you.

Great week of diving with great guys

Completed 13 dives over five days with Frank and Carlos last week. They are good guys with good hearts. They put a lot of effort in helping us, arranging visits to the Connotes and Cozemel. They have great way of communicating with a sense of humour.

I would highly recommend this center if staying in Cancun, at a minimum visit the Cenotes if experienced.

Amazing teachers and guides!

My 16 year old daughter, my wife, and I went to Cancun to complete our open water referral dives plus two more days of diving. Juan Carlos was the perfect guide/instructor for us. It was just his crew and our family the first two mornings (we took the Nitrox course the first two afternoons). Juan Carlos' dive plans and instructions are incredibly clear and exactly what you need. He is always teaching you with an incredible amount of energy and sincerity on his boat, in his van, or on the ferry to Cozumel. He anticipates everything, always knows where you are, your comfort level and what you are thinking. As we look back on our 8 dives over 4 days he was moving us into increasingly challenging dives that he had given us the skills and confidence to take on. On day 3 we dove in strong currents off Cozumel and the last day we got to demonstrate the near perfect buoyancy control that he had taught us in the more technical Dos Ojos cenote. It was a perfect trip and I would not consider diving with anyone other than Cancun Dive Center in Cancun. If this isn't enough he is also your personal photographer. He brings his GoPro and takes a lot of photos of your dives to share with you. We cannot recommend Cancun Dive Center enough. They make you feel like family.

A Cancun Must

I was in Cancun with friends who love to scuba and I was invited for my first dive at the Cancun Scuba Center. I didn't know what to expect, but I ended up having one of the best days of my life. Our instructor, Alfredo, was very thorough explaining the equipment and what to do once underwater.
He was also really funny and had great stories about his over 30 years of diving experience.
If you like to scuba, I highly, highly recommend you check this place out.

Amazing experience! Best instructor!!

My wife and I went diving with Cancun Scuba Center with a friend and had a fantastic experience. Our friend did a Discover Scuba course, and we joined him for two reef dives. The Dive Master, Alfredo, was superb. He’s been teaching Scuba for 32 years and was the most effective instructor we’ve ever met. Alfredo was extremely patient and explained technical concepts in plain language. Thanks to him, we felt safe and were able to truly enjoy the dive. Both dive sites were full of sea life, with tons of fish, healthy coral, and crystal clear water. To top things off, Alfredo took some amazing photos of our dive. We cannot recommend Cancun Scuba Center highly enough. For anyone looking to Scuba for the first time or even for experienced divers, this is the best choice. Next time we are in Cancun, we will be diving with them again without a doubt.

Excelente buceo. Nuestro divemaster, Alfredo, excelente, con mucha experiencia. Todo el equipo de la embarcación muy amables y conocedores. El lugar para salir no es espectacular, ¡pero se compensa con lo que importa que es el buceo!
MUY RECOMENDADO.

Wonderful dive!

Did a 2 tank dive and it was awesome. Our instructor Frank was great, very professional and knowledgeable. Crew helped us putting on gear and changing tanks between dives. Franks predive check and briefing was excellent.

Unforgettable experience

WOW! I must say this experience was without a doubt the best one I’we ever had on any of my trips. If you wish to scuba dive, you have passion for the sea and are willing to put trust in your instructors this is the right place for you-even for begginers such as ourselves. We booked the dive over their website and the communication was fluid, we made a simple downpayment for the resevation on Paypal and got instructions for the meeting point. /It is advised not to take a flight to soon before/after your dive- please comunicate this with the team if you have this situation./The process of getting us ready for the dive was clear, with enough theoretical knowledge passed down and by a pool trial. Our sea dive was postoponed for the next day due to the weather so keep in mind that you may need to adapt or change your plans (its the sea not the wallmart :)!. My main concern was safety and I can assure you that this guys take it seriously. Juan Carlos, Frank and ther team really make sure that all the equipment is adequate and that you are beeing looked after throughout the whole process. Do not feel offended if they correct you or ask you to repeat some practice. You need to be focused and follow the protocols.
The boat ride was rocky and they offered us anti-nausea pills which did the job! The dive itself was awesome, just overwhelmed by the whole experience-not just the musem and the marine life but the fact that you breathe and move in an different enviroment. Just note this activity by itself is quite harcore and you should not take it just in order to accompany your loved one or want instagram photo… because every minute of it you will be put out of your comfort zone and this can cause you distress.
Othervise go for it - it will be highlight of your trip.

If you want to get even more excited about diving than you already are, this is the place

My experience with scuba Cancun was incredible! I had a little bit of experience prior and decided to finally do my open water certification in Cancun. Little did I know that I would have this much fun and make friends along the way. My instructor Frank was kind, patient, funny and very knowledgeable. He spoke near perfect English and while the lessons were in English, we also had great conversations in Spanish.
Everything was well explained and I could tell from the start that safety was a big priority. Once we went out to dive in the ocean I felt super well equipped with knowledge and the certainty that everyone of the instructors cared about my safety. The dives were breathtakingly beautiful and Juan Carlos and Frank even took pictures and videos that they later sent us without any extra charge. They also pointed out all the Marine life under water and later explained what each fish, coral and creature was. Learning to dive with Frank and Juan Carlos made me even more excited for a lifetime of diving and I would recommend them wholeheartedly. A 13/10 experience!
