My experience with Kim was absolutely incredible. I did my open water certification with her, and honestly could not fault her. I felt completely safe throughout, and trusted her entirely. The wildlife we saw was as amazing, and she’s so knowledgeable of the oceans! Thank you so much!!

Kim is a wonderful DM and so competent. She knows all the dive sites so well which made my dive experiences so incredible. She even made the more challenging dives easy. I felt very safe with her. She also loves to laugh. I highly recommend Dive GalaxSea to all divers who are looking for a beautiful and fulfilling experience.

Kim, the owner, took me on a nice fast boat with a great crew and guided
me for great diving! She was very professional and helpful and a great, and fun,
personality. We saw lots of great critters and conditions were beautiful.
When you are coming to Cozumel, please look her up!

My hubby and I popped down to Cozumel from Denver for a long weekend - 5 AMAZING dives (my first night dive- I'm hooked!). We saw so many amazing animals and reef life! Kim is a pro!! Where do I begin? She's confident and knows Cozumel reefs and the current like the back of her hand. She has a passion for reef life and preservation. She knows which boats/captains in Cozumel to align with for a safe experience. All of this plus she's super fun to be around! Thank you Kim!

Diving with Kim at Dive GalaxSea gave me some of the best open water dives that I have ever had. I'm an experienced diver, have been diving for over 30 years, and my dives with Kim were some of the best. She is incredibly experienced, fun-loving, capable, and adventurous, if you want to be. She listened to us and the types of dives that we wanted to do, and she chose dive sites and customized our dives for the type of experience we wanted to have. We saw loggerhead turtles, green and hawksbill turtles, a large free-swimming moray eel and too many other wonderful marine life species to mention here. I did several day dives with Kim and a night dive. They were all simply remarkable. I have dived Cozumel six times in the last three years, and I have to say that I have not enjoyed any of my other dives as much as the ones with Kim. She will make sure that you get the most out of your dives! Dive GalaxSea is my new #1 dive operator. I will be back!

13 Dives in 6 days and every one of them great. This was our fourth time visiting Cozumel and we had a blast! Kim knows her way around the reefs and has keen eye for finding critters. She's fun to be around and it is infectious.
We have dove with Dive GalaxSea on past trips and so glad we went back. If you want an ethical guide who cares about the sea life and respects the reef, then look no further.
No matter what your skill level, you will get to visit great sites and feel confident that you won't end up on a site beyond your capabilities. On this trip, we were fortunate to be able to visit some more challenging sites, thanks to having improved our competency over the years. Even then, we knew Kim would not dive a site if she felt we weren't ready or capable.
No matter what, Kim keeps it fun yet professional. She is great with kids and adults alike!
I can't say enough about what a great outfit this is. Book some dives, in fact, book lots of dives, you won't be disappointed!

This was my family's second trip diving with Kim in Cozumel.
Kim is a fantastic dive instructor. First, it's very helpful that she's a US native so there was never any problems with language. She certified one of my sons and was patient with him while making sure to cover everything that needed to be covered.
Next, Kim is very professional, punctual, and responsible. She's always there at the dock well ahead of us with the boat loaded, all equipment at hand and ready to go at the appointed hour. She gives brief but excellent reminders about diving, which are good for bolstering ones confidence. The one time I entered the water without properly tucking in my gauges, she instantly noticed.
Kim also has an amazing eye for all the interesting animals underwater. I would have missed so much of what there was to see without her. I don't know how she's so good at finding all the creatures, some of whom are jammed into little rocks!
Kim is also great at finding wonderful spots to dive and then promptly supplies the dive codes to add to ones log.
Finally, Kim has a fabulous attitude. She's always in a good mood and gets everyone laughing, even when we all might be a bit cold and tired. And it's all very sincere and down-to-earth, not like a cheer leader, but more like a friend.
Can't say enough for Kim and Dive GalaxSea! You won't go wrong with this choice!

First of all, this was my first time diving after a 12-year break. I recently decided to get back into the sport and was apprehensive about the kind of experience I was going to have. My last time diving was with an operation in Florida and that was a horrible, machismo fueled experience whichup contributed to my absence from diving.
The dives with Kim were 180-degrees opposite. She was patient and took the time to make sure that I was comfortable. Her knowledge of the dive sites was second to none and she knew exactly where to find the best sea life and took the time to point out the critters and the unique corals. Her love of the environment shines!
We saw several turtles! Never have I had that experience and on the second day of diving, we were fortunate enough to have an encounter with a beautiful old Loggerhead.
To me, it was an almost religious experience which has permanently solidified my desire to advance my skills and my knowledge. Not to mention, I look forward to spending more time with her on dives for years to come.

Great dives and Kim is extremely knowledgeable. She is fun and friendly and helpful!! This was our kids third/fourth dives and these dives were AWESOME!!! We would highly recommend her services and we will definitely plan to come back and see her again!!! NO DOUBT!

We recently returned from our Cruise that took us to Cozumel. My wife and I were celebrating our 54th anniversary. We dove the previous day on Grand Cayman where the Dive Operator recommended we contact Kim at Dive Galaxsea in Cozumel. It was a great recommendation. Kim adjusted her hours to accommodate the ship's arrival time and tailored a fantastic experience for us on the Palancar Reef. Marine life, sponges and Corals were colorful, vibrant and uniquely different than where we have been diving in Hawaii for years, just as recently as March this year. The whiteness of the sand drifts contrasted with the colorful fan corals and sponges as the peaks and valleys on either side and in front of us were almost surreal. Kim was an excellent leader, listening to us and sharing with us in a way that seemed like we were diving with an old friend. Mahalo Nui Loa and much Aloha to you Kim. . . Cap'n Ray and Vicki Kalman
