Generous drinks, reasonable beer prices, and the best "bar bar" I've ever been to. Romi can whip up some beautiful custom shots, and the margaritas are solid. Don't just be a tourist - mix with the locals!

Rock Bar is my favorite place to hang out on the island.
If you come to Isla Mujeres regularly like so many of us do, you will find yourself coming back here every-time as the owner gets to know her regulars, and will make you feel like a long-time friend.
Amazing drink prices, and one of my favorite margaritas. Great music and great atmosphere.

Romi is the absolute best! Great drink prices, probably the best on Hildago. Plays great Alternative/Gothic music. We go several times a year and make it a point to stop in and drink when open or if we can get a table, it can get pretty packed! But one of our hands down favorite placea to stop on and grab a cold beer, tequila, and mixed drinks!

I have been coming to this place for over 5 years and it’s my favorite. The drinks are great at fair prices but honestly you can get that many places. What separates this from the rest is the atmosphere.
Fun, down to earth people come to this bar. Attracted by the kindness, fun and caring of the owner. I have been here on more than one occasion where I might have had 3 too many yet she is always making sure you are safe.
I read a post of watered down drinks and had to post, as it’s BS and I’ve had nothing but great drinks here. So good that my son has found this to be his favorite on the island.

My favourite part was the price of the excellent drinks and the company of bartender/owner Romina.. The only negative was some drunk named Tom who kept complaining about everything.

Avoid this place with their watered down tequila. Owner slumps around like Barney from the Simpsons and is rude.

Here we go again. As you wrote the same review on Google I will have to repeat myself. Tequila is not watered down, served from the original bottle directly into shots, 5 shots for 100 pesos (approx 1 dollar shot) it’s called El Compadre and it’s 100% agave, clients are free to taste it before ordering, we have nothing to hide. Open for almost 12 years RockBar always had great reviews and same clientele since the first days.
Your problem seems to be more personal than tequila related, as you are clearly referring to the guy (not the owner btw) who was helping me during high season.
Trying to damage my business writing the same review over and over on all social media seems pathetic and my bar will be full no matter what.
RockBar is where tourists and locals meet and drink the cheapest beers, a Corona costs 30 pesos, well drinks 60 pesos, barely raised prices in the last 8 years, difficult to beat that in the pedestrian area at night.
Wifi service, Sky for sport events, great music and we’re surrounded by restaurants happy to serve you food, yes you can enjoy a pizza sitting at our table if you get hungry after few beers.
It’s clear you don’t like the place and I don’t want your money either, can we both peacefully live with this and move on or should I expect to write this again on Yelp?

A basic, no frills bar with an excellent Italian owner, great value drinks. We were even able to order an amazing pizza from the restaurant next door!

The Rock Bar was our favorite place for happy hour. The owner, Romy, is great, and she makes the best margaritas and mohitos on the island. Very reasonable prices too!
