The tour was booked through the hotel/resort for us. Check with your hotel concierge.

You will have to check with the hotel/resort that you would be staying at. It is usually organized by them. The reception/concierge should be helpful.

I’m not sure if those hours will work on the trip, you would need to contact the tour companies to see if they have flexibility on the tours. We left early morning. Sorry I’m unable to be of anymore help.

You can drive there yourself there and maybe get more time to look about, as guided tour a little rushed.

I do recommend the myan ruins it was about 4 hours but you get to see a lot.

Gosh, I don't remember! You can make arrangement with the tour group located in the hotel lobby or, do as we did and book it through a beach vendor. Some folks aren't comfortable with this but we do it all the time and have never had a problem. We found that the cost is typically 2/3's or less than what they wanted to charge us in the lobby. If you do use a beach vendor, ask a lot of questions. This way you can validate them plus, when we booked this excursion, we were actually thinking of going somewhere else...the more and more we asked the more Chichen Itza seemed to be a better fit! There is a bit of walking but quite flat, can go at own pace, I would put difficulty low.
