They are the most professional and friendly guys you can find around, taking you through all the steps with care and making sure you’ll become the best diver you can be.

Dive life es un centro de buceo 5 estrellas, esto es por Fran, Course Director y líder de Dive Life.
Su personal está altamente capacitado para llevarte a pasear o impartir cursos de la mas alta calidad y con toda seguridad.
El equipo de buzos que conforman Dive life es amable, siempre dan el extra, te comparten tips de buceo y si haces cursos con ellos se aseguran que todo haya quedado comprendido e incorporado a tus conocimientos.
Puedes hacer desde el open water, open water advance, curso de rescate, curso de cavernas, etc, etc.
No duden en bucear en cenote con Dive Life, la mayor seguridad con el mejor equipo de buzos de caverna y cueva. Es espectacular.
En especial quiero mencionar a un gran buzo, Javi, el es mi sensei y me llevó de la mano en toda la parte práctica del curso de cavernas y del curso de rescate. Es un gran gran buzo quien me guió y de quien aprendí muchísimo y ahora me siento muy segura de mis conocimientos.

Conocemos la tienda y a Fran desde hace años, nos encanta bucear con él. Todo su equipo es súper profesional y te hacen sentir segura en todo momento. Son unos pros. Esta vez fuimos a bucear en cenotes y nos encantó, yo estaba algo nerviosa por no estar en aguas abiertas pero Fran me hizo sentir súper tranquila y cuidada. Recomiendo mil hacer cenotes con Fran, tiene muchísima experiencia. Esta vez también buceamos con Javi y súper divertido. Los queremos muchísimo. <3

Your place to go when you want to go diving in the area of Playa del Carmen. We booked a total of 8 dives together with Dive Life while we stayed in Playa del Carmen. We arranged the dives with Carlos, a well trained, professional, friendly, cool and funny instructor who knows the area and suggested the locations.
We did 4 dives in Playa del Carmen, 2 in the nearby island of Cozumel and 2 in the Cenote Tajma Ha. Since we bought our own diving equipment for the first time and have not been diving for one and a half year, Carlos suggested an easy location first which was perfect.
The reefs, the corals and the wildlife are completely intact and we had so much fun diving there. Definitely do a dive in Cozumel. It is a little bit more expensive since there is transportation needed (which Dive Life took 100% care of) but it is so worth it. Also the cenote diving was a really cool experience.
The other crew members we dove with, Tomas, Javier and Manuel were also highly professional, well trained and friendly. We really enjoyed their company and they made sure that we felt safe and secure both above and below sea level. We can totally recommend Dive Life and will return once we are in the area.

I have been diving in many places in the world, i have been in Playa del Carmen for the past few 5 months. I have used Dive|Life for all my ocean and cenote dives sin ce being here.
I can honestly say this company are the best i've had the pleasure of diving with. As i went review today i came across a very negative review, i am shocked to read such negativity about a company i have been diving with 50+ times. Some people really do see the world differently and i disagree with everything my personal experience allows me to.
You will have a great time with this team.

I did my Open Water Certification with Carlos out of the Selina in Playa Del Carmen.. great instructor! Carlos is a true dive master, excellent explanations, experienced diver, and facilities and equipment were great. He was available for any questions via WhatsApp and made the whole process seamless.
In addition, I spoke with Thomas and he served as a great resource for any questions I had related to the training and coordinating meet up times. I was working during the week and so all only trainings were on the weekends only.
100% best value. They also have recreational dive tours to cenotes (certified cave scuba guides)!

J'ai suivi l'open water course sur 3 jours (1 piscine et 4 plongées en mer). J'ai eu la chance d'être encadré par Francii et Fran (qui parlent tous deux anglais). Ce qui fait la différence? Une équipe très accueillante et dédiée (vous plongerez avec un instructeur qui ne s'occupe que de vous) ! Vous aurez l'impression de plonger avec vos amis et serez parfaitement encadrés pour allier sécurité et plaisir. En plus, les fonds marins à Playa sont simplement splendides ! Vous pourrez même vous arrangez pour faire votre formation en partie à Tulum, l'équipe s'adapte à nos dispos et nos envies.

My husband and I have been diving with Francisco and Dive Life for 4 years now and each trip has been wonderful! He does everything necessary to make every dive safe and fun, and the level of service we have always gotten from him is the best we've had anywhere. Previously we've only been able to spend one day of our trip with him as we normally stay on Isla Mujeres and meet up with Fran for a day of cenote diving. This time we spent the whole week in Playa and dove every day with him, alternating between cenotes and reefs. His boat captain Rafael is very nice and you can tell safety is his highest priority. We all wore masks when not diving and I felt like Fran and Rafael both took the covid situation very seriously unlike some other dive boats we saw. We love diving with Francisco and plan to do it again soon!

It was our first time diving in the cenotes and I am so happy that we went with Francisco! Fran came to pick us up in Tulum in the morning to go to Cenotes Jacinto Pat (the Pit) and Dos Ojos. He was super friendly and professional. It was our first time diving in the cenotes and Fran gave us a detailed briefing (incl. what we would see/experience during the dives and safety measures specific to cenotes/cave diving) and had all the gear we needed. During the dives, he checked up on us at regular interval and just had that safe feeling that you should feel with your instructor. The next day we went to Cozumel, we met up with Fran in Playa del Carmen in the morning. The trip to Cozumel was very well organised (ferry to Cozumel, taxi to the marina and boat out to the reef, and on the way back as well) and the dives were spectacular (amazing coral wall, eagle ray, eels, turtle, lobsters walking on the sea floor and loads of fish). Fran's team was great (welcoming, safe and professional) and I would highly recommend going diving with them. Our trip was cut short because of the coronavirus, but I'm glad we managed to squeeze in a great cenotes and ocean diving experience with Fran and his team before going home. We will definitely come back and dive with Fran when all this blows over!

Is Dive Life's bull sharks dive suitable for newly-certified open water divers? I see some tours that go deeper than 60 feet and require either Advanced Open Water certification or a minimum of 25-30 previous dives.

My name is Francisco J. Davids and I work as a Course Director at Dive Life at our Playa del Carmen location.

With more than 15 years in the industry focusing on this, we have the professionalism and knowledge to truly create amazingly enriching diving experiences.
Dive Life’s belief is that every dive should be a new adventure, and we love sharing with our divers the unique and amazing underwater world that Mexico offers. We like to have fun as well, which is why we enjoy socializing both before and after the diving, and we frequently visit the next-door bar to have a drink and share stories to get to know our divers or give tips on which restaurants to visit or other activities worthwhile here in the Riviera Maya.
Regarding your inquiry let me say, yes, you could dive with us with different introductory programs, for example, we have the Discover Scuba Diving Experience a fast explainations of the basics and ready to enjoy, we will care you all the time and do allmost everything to give you the best adventure; then you could contoinue with the Scuba Diver or the Open Water course, take little longer but you will get your certification after that.
Please tell me what is your idea, for how many days you are going to be here and if you are ionterested in a certification or just the expeirence, after that I could give you a quotation or find a good deal for you.
Dive Life is a PADI 5 star Instructor Development Center, and we can provide a full list of PADI courses and a long list of specialties. The big difference is that we have small groups and thus can personalize the experience to you.
