Sehr schönes Mangroven-Tauchen. Zur Schnorchel ebenfalls sehr gut geeignet. Beim Tauchen schwamm mir ein Krokodil entgegen.

Superbe Cenote extérieur avec parcours dans les mangroves. Aussi beau à l’extérieur que sous l’eau. Gilet fournis. Avoir un masque est bien. On peut louer des kayaks et palmes et prendre des cours de plongée bouteille. Prix de l’entrée simple 150 pesos par personne.

El paisaje de este sitio es simplemente impresionante. El tour vale la pena, pues su precio es accesible y haces un recorrido considerable.

We love going to eat at Casa Cenote. The food is good and priced fairly. The view of the water is great. We are often told that the internet is down and they can only accept cash, no credit cards. This seems to happen when the owner is not present. We went for the third time this trip and the same thing happened. We had internet on our phones. The waiter said there was no internet service. After we ate and paid cash, we went to the small store located in Casa Cenote's parking lot. We purchased some items and were able to use a credit card as their internet was working. Very interesting?

No está señalizado, hay que seguir las indicaciones de Google, es un recorrido por un cenote/manglar con el aliciente que viven un par de cocodrilos de dos metros que, hasta el momento, parece ser que no han atacado a nadie pero son animales salvajes en su hábitat. Es un cenote barato, unos 6€ y dispone de un WC portátil en el parking SIN sistema de alcantarillado lo cual era vomitivo...los excrementos se amontonaban sin agua ni nada...

Beautiful cenote! We saw the famous crocodile

Beautiful cenote! We rented a kayak and went to the end of the cenote where we were suprised to see the famous crocodile Pancho, laying on the rocks. It was an amazing experience. We also saw beautiful birds, big fishes and crabs. The water is crystal clear!

Mangroven Cenote mit Alligator

Schöne Cenote durch die Mangroven. Keine Höhlen. Nach ca. 10min Schnorcheln durch die Mangroven kommt man ans Ende der Cenote. Dort befindet sich noch ein „zahmer“ Hausaligator. Imposant, wenn man ruhig an ihm vorbeischnorchelt. Danach gehts über den selbigen Weg wieder zurück. Sicht im Wasser eher beschränkt… aber trotzdem cooles Erlebnis.
Eintritt 150Pesos und 100 Pesos fürs Mitführen der GoPro.
Unbedingt selber schnorcheln gehen. Am Eingang werden Guides empfohlen (500Pesos) Ist aber wirklich nich nötig. Der Weg ist klar, da es nur einen gibt. Schwimmwesten vorhanden. Parkplatz vorhanden. Duschen habe ich keine gsehen.

This is the first cenote I have visited which was great after touring the Tulum ruins in the heat. Since we were with a tour guide I feel they are in good graces with the gatekeepers so getting in and out was an easy process.

The swim was relaxed and we got to see some fresh water life as well as poncho. I thought it would be a sculpture but no, he is very much alive.

Carry as little as possible with you because as others mentioned, there isn't anywhere to set your stuff down other than lockers you have to pay for.

As with any cenotes and hot springs, if you can shower to remove all lotions, perfumes, sunscreens, deodorants and makeup before going in, please do! It helps keep these places as clean as can be from humans.

Dangerous and unscrupulous scuba operation at an otherwise beautiful place

The centote itself is interesting, nice, has very nice qualities. This review is for the dive operation that works out of there that calls themselves 'Diving Tulum'.

Diving Tulum is a DANGEROUS AND RECKLESS dive operator that only cares about profiits, not client safety.

They are not associataed with any of the legitimate diving educational programs such as PADI, SSI, NAUI, etc.

1. Terrible gear
old, worn BCDs, no depth gauges on rental gear.
2. NEVER CHECKED CERTS
and had no problems taking newly minted open water students into full blown cave diving at Dos Ojos Cenote.
3. HALF FULL TANKS
they were annoyed when we refused tanks at 1500 PSI for use in an overhead, cavern environment.
4. NO WEIGHT BELTS (probably too expensive), instead all weight was in integrated BCDs where it fell out during one dive.

This operation should be shut down if there was a functional government in this area. But it is all about the $$$s, not safety with this operation.

You are on your own.
Avoid this unscrupulous and dangerous operation.

Websites are inaccurate, they want to charge you for everything

Watch out, when you arrive they want to charge you for every little thing. You need to pay for taking in a ga pro, you can’t get your wet bag in (you need to pay for lockers) , they want to charge you 500 pesos when you can only pay 120 per person. They threaten you with paying their deals before you go in because if they “catch you” inside they will charge you five times more.
