nice course with a beautiful layout. friendly caddies that are allowed to drink beer. big beautiful locker rooms and clubhouse.great food in restaurant. would play here any day of the week. close to airport if you want to sneak a game in before a flight.

we played Thana before we had to jump on the plane -- got to say it was very busy but a good course.

Considering most things in Thailand are cheap , it’s a different story if you are a tourist and want to play golf.
it cost me over $300 to play golf in AUD and they played the cant speak English card as well. i rang to book a carts only course and then when arrived they added the Cart cost. there was the game charges then Cart,Caddy,Clubs and then after finishing the game i go and refresh and look around the pro shop at $400 shirts that are $60 back home, i leave only to have my Cab stopped by some guy asking for a tip for the caddy to add to my pain of spending money. I could not communicate with them at all and was expected to pay more for what i had already paid for.....Yay!!!!!. Be Careful!!!!

スポーツデイのプロモーションで、プレー費が１４００バーツでした。月曜日以外の平日はビジターで３６００バーツ、エージェントに頼んでも２０００バーツ以上はするので、かなりお得にプレーできました。ただ、安いだけあって毎ホール待たなければいけませんでした。

I had the pleasure of a number of great games of golf over the month I was in Bangkok at the Thana City Golf Course. From the time you arrive to the time you leave it is first class.
The caddies are great and cheerful if you let them be, the course is pristine and suitably difficult for a Greg Norman course, as is expected, but can be played by the high handicapper without too much difficulty.
The "Shark Bite", which is the last three holes is fun. Make sure that you get a look at the course on the webpage first, there are some interesting traps for young players.
The locker facilities are first class, but unfortunately the sauna is no longer working.
The cafe is great and a cold jug of Asahi with frosted glasses is the way to end the day. My favourite snacks were the chicken wings and the crispy pork belly.
Warning, it is expensive for the tourist, but for locals there is a Thana City Golf Card that gives great discounts. It is only for residents and I think that they should look at a way to offer a similar card for golfers who are in Thailand for more than a few days.
However, if you are into afternoon golf, there are some great deals depending on what time you tee off. Check the web page.
They also have a two night package that gives two nights accommodation, golf, cart and caddy with transfer to the airport. A good idea for the last two days of a trip. Rooms are very well appointed.

클럽하우스와 부대시설 레스토랑이 유명해서 선택한 골프장인데 코스 관리도 잘되서 골프를 아주 재미있게 플레이 할 수 있었습니다.
클럽하우스는 아주 청결하고 좋은 시설을 갖췄으며 음식은 예상대로 훌륭했습니다.
공항이 근처라 비행기 소음이 있지만 이 또한 매력이라면 매력일 수도 있습니다. 태어나서 이렇게 많은 비행기를 언제 보겠어요?

This is old, long and flat course with water hazards. Overall quality was not fantastic, can give a miss. Caddies were not as trained in terms of service oriented as Nikanti. There was absolutely no slow play but marshal just chase because 2 balls was behind which of coz play faster than 4 balls. Caddy was pressured to speed up leading to unprofessional handling when golfer was putting.
The changing room had a strong reek, very foul smell and run down.

Thana City is located 30 minutes from Bangkok airport. They do a free shuttle service which is a bonus. We booked a room for the day as we were in transit between cities. The rooms are clean and modern. Our driver told us that this place has only been open for a year! The staff are friendly and the Splash Restaurant had a decent green curry.

How much is it to rent a club for the driving range?

Should be 30 min in the morning through taxi ... Depending on timing may be tough to find one in the morning though.
Back to town can take up to 1 hour.
