As a Surprise Christmas Present for My Family today we ALL had the most exciting, thoroughly enjoyable, informative, interactive day. Kerri, Ben and their Family work so hard to ensure the day runs smoothly and ensuring we had an Unforgettable Brilliant Day……WOW!!!!!……..we are all still buzzing about it…….gonna tell all our friends and family…..
The wet and Mud just added to the occasion!! LOL!! A day that none of us will ever forget…The stew was super tasty as well!!
This experience is Highly Recommended….loads of fun, you wont regret signing up for this Wonderful Experience!!….Thank You Kerri and your family

A brilliant introduction to the sport of dog sledding. We were expertly guided through the process, first steering a sled down a gentle slope, then towed behind a quad bike, before being taken out with dogs pulling us. A really well planned day, including a tasty stew round the camp fire at lunchtime.
Everyone concerned was remarkably helpful and friendly, and worked expertly and patiently with our autistic son to ensure he got the most out of the day. A terrific experience.

I booked the silver experience for my wife's 50th birthday in between Xmas & New Year. What a fabulous day! My wife was over the moon and we both thoroughly enjoyed it.
Ben & family were very warm and welcoming and made it all very relaxing and taylored perfectly to our respective comfort zones. We got to meet all the dogs, who were all very friendly with everyone and couldn't wait to get pulling us around on the buggies.
Photographs were not only allowed but encouraged and a lovely hot stew was served in the afternoon to warm us up.
I couldn't reccommend this highly enough!

I was gifted a 2hr husky sledding taster experience, we went on a wet and sloppy January afternoon and had a great time in the mud.
Meeting all the huskies and seeing how friendly and excited to go sledding they were was a nice easy start, then we learned all about the rig and how to drive it.
Next we had a very well supervised trial run with a small team of dogs before heading out round the woods.
We were looked after very well throughout the experience by the very friendly staff team, as were the dogs, who were swapped out before they got tired and obviously enjoyed it as much as we did.
Don't expect to be on the sled the whole time if doing the taster. Even with a small group of six we spent more time standing around waiting for our turn than riding the sled. But with all those huskies begging for attention there was no shortage of fun to be had whether on or off the sleds.

My wife and I booked a silver mushing experience with uk9 dog sports centre, and had a great day. The session was well organised, and they take the welfare of the dogs and safety of participants very seriously. We started with being introduced to the dogs - a mix of huskies and husky-cross hounds, then a downhill slalom to introduce us to the (3 wheeled) “sleds” they use without dog-power, then a quad bike tow along a track (to check we were happy with the equipment and the dogs would be safe under our control), before several rounds of “mushing” with the dogs along woodland paths and tracks. The dogs love their jobs, and it was brilliant muddy fun. (Not to mention a big bowl of stew part way through - culinary central heating on a winter day). Huge thanks to Ben and Tim for such a great day. Highly recommended!

Me and my husband had a fantastic day at UK9 dog centre. 😀 We went on the silver experience and had an absolute blast. He is a really competitive speed demon whereas I can be a bit nervous about trying new things but we both thoroughly enjoyed it. They quickly figure out how much to push each person, and really tailor it to each individual without you even noticing it. Whatever your levels of skill and confidence you can have an ace time and trust them to make sure you are safe and having fun!!
Unlike some of the other centres offering dog team experiences this is a real hand on day. You are not just a spectator along for the ride, you really get to interact with the dogs and then experience what it is like to be in control of a team of dogs 🐕
I would 100% recommend this day to anyone considering it....dress sensibly and be prepared for a bit of mud but you will definitely have a brilliant time, and they are so freindly and committed to what they do I promise you will leave wanting to go back again for another go!!

An absolutely brilliant experience if you love dogs, camping and aren’t scared of muddy puddles!
Our afternoon started with meeting each of the dogs - it was so nice to learn their stories & breed info, and that after giving 100% in races or pulling us round the trails, they’re all family and live in Ben & Kerri’s house!
We were then taught how to ride the rig and did some practice runs without the dogs to get used to steering, braking and keeping the dogs safe while running. We then had a few runs that increased technically and also in speed as they added another dog into the team. Even though some of us started nervous, we all had a brilliant time and finished each trail with a huge smile and splattered in mud 😹🙌🏻. Right up our street! The dogs absolutely love the running too and are so excited to be chosen!
We then pitched in making a campfire and waited until dark for our final and longest run. It was absolutely brilliant and tipping out our soaked boots was so funny - definitely bring spare clothes & shoes!!
The rest of our night was spent chatting round the campfire with homemade pizzas, a few drinks and plenty of banter with the UK9 family & friends. We’re all a fan of sleeping in hammocks now too!
The whole team were great hosts & worked hard to give us a great experience. And we can’t not mention Dan who was also staying with his pack of 7 dogs too & also wanted cuddles!

My partner booked this for me as a birthday surprise - and wow! Such a lovely and unexpected day!
The sledding itself was great fun - with us doing 3 runs across different terrain; finished off with a campfire and food! But what we loved even more was getting to learn about all the dogs and their histories/recoveries.
Really feel that the whole family really contributed to this, making us feel so welcome and a part of their team for the afternoon!
Couldn't recommend more!

We had the silver experience today. Kerri, Ben, Tim and Belle were all so amazing. The dogs were so friendly and loved all the fuss. Alaska, Inka, Eva and lily were our particular favourites although we loved them all ❤️ was lovely to hear all of the 19 dogs back ground stories, meet and fuss all of them. This was booked as a suprise for my Husky loving boyfriend. Definitely one for the bucket list for all dog lovers. Thank you so, so much to all the team.

Fantastic experience, amazing staff and beautiful dogs who were gentle and great with everyone …
We booked a mushing experience for our daughters 9th birthday and spectators tickets all worth every penny. The staff were very friendly and gave us lots of information on all their dogs an all round brilliant experience would definitely Recommend for others . Thank you Kerri and the team for making it a great morning Emma, Pete, Matt, Skye ,Isla ,Tilly,Tommy and Ella 😁
