I am utterly disgusted with the treatment I received from the salon.
I had booked in online to have my hair done for a wedding that I was going to in London in the evening, I arrived at the salon and was told there was no booking for me.
After looking back at emails it was clear that an error has been made on their behalf and they could only offer me a space an hour and 15 minutes later which meant I had to change train and an appointment For make-up in London before the wedding that evening.
The girls in the salon were lovely but the lady I spoke to called Lisa at what I am assuming is the head office branch in Chichester was absolutely awful.
There was no Apology offered for the inconvenience and the disruption to an important day, she simply told me that I could have my hair done by a more senior hairdresser for the same price (Only because that was the only person available). She then told me she couldn’t do it for any less because it would come out of the pockets of the hairdressers which we all know is an absolute lie. I was then told that I would not be getting a free service for my inconvenience - which I never expected or requested but an apology and Goodwill gesture would’ve been gratefully received!
I had to argue with her to finally be offered 10% off to which I then cancelled the appointment. I have never felt so undervalued as a customer neither have I ever received such a poor service and booking system.
This company does not care about its customers, it is all about money and they employ extremely rude people to deal with customer issues.
I feel sorry for the lovely hairdressers who work for such a company as it is not their fault and I’m sure they would do a wonderful job on my hair, Unfortunately due to the disgusting treatment I received they will not be getting the opportunity with me again.

I got given a voucher to use but with the 3 lockdowns and still working full time there was never any availability to use it when I was not working. My voucher has now expired but Q hair are refusing to extend it. Myself a friends have had quite a few vouchers and contacted the various companies and they have all extended them. I find this a bit unacceptable as this voucher has been paid for and we are not able to have the service which someone has paid for. They need to rethink this for the future. The man I spoke to Kain Lawrence was also very rude to me on the phone. Really not a good experience with this company.

The salon is bigger inside than it looks, like the Tardis!
Staff are very friendly and helpful. My stylist, Jess, was very professional and talented.
Everyone was friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxing.
Prices in line with the area, certainly not the most expensive I have been to since moving to the area.
The Salon also offeres spa treatments, so worth a visit.

I recently went to the Donnington salon and had a full body massage with Indian head massage. I can not tell you enough how amazing my experience was from the moment I stepped in. My massage was incredible and I'm very fussy. They then offered me a complimentary blow dry after my massage. From start to finish the staff were so lovely. Thank you again and really looking forward to coming back!

Local people and holiday-makers visiting the Witterings or Goodwood should definitely stop by Q salon for a makeover, or a hair cut. Q hair and beauty salon does all hair treatments for men, women and children; and also has a Clarins beauty treatment salon on site.
Parking is a breeze - right out front, and you can pop into a premium local butchers or the Co-op if you need to get a bit of shopping.
