Fantastic experience. My husband and I had 50 minute Swedish massages last week. My massage therapist was Hilda and my husband’s was Annalei. The spa is beautiful. You arrive about an hour before your service to enjoy the sauna, steam room, whirlpool and relaxing lounge chairs. They put cucumber slices with a cool towel on your eyelids and a heating pad around your neck… exquisite! We’ve been here before and love every minute!

I was very pleased to enjoy a luxurious hydrotherapy spa service from Nahiely with my good friend this morning while we are staying at Villa La Estancia. My brother had recommended that we check out the spa after he and my sister in law had enjoyed their spa time yesterday.
Nahiely, our attendant, was very attentive, and gave a wonderful relaxing service-it was just what I needed as a refresh. The hydrotherapy included a sauna, some time in the steam room, Jacuzzi, an ice plunge and a restful cucumber eye nap with scalp massage. Some hot cinnamon tea wrapped up the almost two hour service (which was included with our all-inclusive package). I highly recommend not only Nahiely, but any time spent at the beautiful spa. The surroundings are peaceful, very clean, and lovely in every way.

If you are staying at Villa la Estancia in Nuevo Nayarit, you must take advantage of Tatewari Spa. Our all-inclusive stay includes a daily trip to the Hydrotherapy circuit. I thought I’d simply find a hot tub and sauna. Instead I found Antonio (yesterday) and Efrain (today), who walked me through a circuit of seven-ish luxurious hydrotherapy stations, all of which culminated in a long nap on a lounge chair with a warm lavender bag around my neck and cucumbers on my eyes!! I haven’t been this relaxed in years. Both of these guys were welcome companions and I was beyond grateful for the visit.

Ruth offered me a great discount on a massage to celebrate my birthday so I decided to take advantage of it. What a wonderful experience! I was pampered from the moment I walked in. Ruth reccomended I arrive an hour early to enjoy the facility. First stop was the sauna. Nahiely, the attendant. ask me to lay down in the sauna to relax, she would be back for me on 10 minutes. Next a cooling waterfall shower, then on to the eucalyptus scented steam room, followed by a soak in the jet tub. Nahiely guided me through each area to make sure I was completely relaxed before my luxurious massage by Yaneth. My spa experience was divine! Yaneth was very thorough and professional. I highly recommend a visit.

Went to the Tatawari Spa for a massage. The staff that welcomes you (Juanita, Blanca, and Evelyn) are very friendly and helpful. Hilda gave me a deep tissue massage. It was so good I went back for another with her. She also gave me a facial which was very relaxing.

This was by far the best spa service that we've had on any trip. From the moment you enter the spa, you can feel your body start to relax. It is a very tranquil and beautiful place! We booked the My Other Half 80 min. package. We were told to arrive an hour early for the pre-massage services, which included the sauna, steam room, whirlpool, cold soak, and much needed down time with aromatherapy and a warm neck wrap. There are separate facilities for men & an for this. The atmosphere was perfect to get into full relaxation mode. Then we were taken to our massage treatment. The room was quiet, beautiful, and smelled amazing. Hilda and Liz did an incredible job with our massages and we were so relaxed and peaceful... Heavenly! The package includes a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries after the massage, both of which which were delicious. Everyone we encountered at the spa was professional and so very kind. I highly recommend Tatewari Spa if you are in need of a relaxing and amazing experience!

This is one of my favorite places to visit. The staff are extremely nice and helpful. The spa is beautiful with relaxing amenities. The service was excellent! Thank you Ivette for my massage and facial. See you next trip.

We were so excited to surprise my sister with a spa day for her bachelorette party and it surpassed all of our expectations. Making the reservations for a party of 8 can be challenging by Evelin made it effortless. She was even able to accommodate changes the day of when some of us wanted to try non traditional massages. From the moment we walked in we were transported into this Zen atmosphere. The ambiance, the aroma and all the staff helped you relax and honestly achieve an out of body experience. Lillian guided us through the hydro spa experience. It was fun for our group of 8 to all be able to do it together. I could have been happy just relaxing in the spa but then came the massages. Hilda my masseuse brought me into my room and had me put my hands around a candle. She walked me through this “prayer/meditation “. Then the mud massage began. It starts with exfoliation, moves to being cocooned in mud, ending in a massage. I have never had such smooth skin. She was amazing! I was glowing. I rejoined my party received cucumbers and a cold cloth for my eyes and a warm wrap for my neck. Lillian walked around bringing water and head massages. I have never felt so taken care of before.

I have visited spas in many locations throughout the world and I have to say that this is one of my absolute favorites! I don't even bother with getting a massage because the hydrotherapy circuit is so completely relaxing and refreshing to me.
This spa made our vacation exceptional for both me and my adult daughter. I recommend walking down to tour the spa and make a reservation while there as they can be quite busy. The elegant relaxation is a pure treat. It is my favorite thing to enjoy in the area. I absolutely love the beauty and relaxation of the Tatewari Spa. The Hydrotherapy Circuit is fantastic. It includes the use of a locker, dry sauna, steam room, a gorgeous Jacuzzi in the center of the area, a waterfall shower and then a cold plunge pool to close your pores. You then rest on a chaise lounge, listening to the soothing sounds of the flowing water while sipping tea or a delicious detoxing chlorophyll drink. They come and put cold cucumber slices over your eyes with a cool scented washcloth, drape a warm clove and cinnamon deliciously scented wrap around your shoulders and give you a scalp massage for relaxation. Dulce was new to the spa and gave us excellent attention while going through the hydrotherapy circuit. It was heavenly and we enjoyed doing this three times during our week vacation.
If you are not on the all-inclusive plan at Villa La Estancia or Villa del Palmar Flamingos (where the Hydrotherapy Circuit is included daily), or if you are staying at another resort as we were, you can come enjoy the Hydrotherapy Circuit for just $20 and stay as long as you like. My daughter enjoys going through the circuit once and then relaxing on the chaise lounge. I enjoy going through the circuit two or three times before relaxing on a chaise lounge. Worth every penny and I tip $5 for each of us for the attentive service. They have an attendant for you to be sure you only stay as long as you specify in the sauna and steam and walk you through the hydrotherapy process. I found this year that a waterproof watch was helpful to keep track of how long we stayed in each area. It is heavenly! You will feel totally pampered and ready for a nice evening out! This was most definitely the highlight of our vacation!

The Tatewari Spa at Villa del Palmar Flamingos is a wonderful spa!! I have been many times, and it is always excellent!! Juanita and Blanca at the reception desk are always very welcoming and helpful. Roberto, Noel and Enrique pamper you in the hydrotherapy area and always provide great service! And for an amazing massage, ask for Jonathan. I’ve had massages all around the world, and Jonathan, hands down, gives the best massage I’ve ever had!! It’s worth going to Puerto Vallarta just for a massage from Jonathan!!
