Très chouette!

Aventure très agréable. A la fois relaxante et amusante. Hans connaît plein de choses sur ce qu’il nous montre. Nous avons vu deux lions de mer et avons fait du kayak (et du paddle pour ceux qui veulent) après avoir fait un petit tour à pieds dans le joli parc-Île de Newcastle. Hans était très sympathique, nous recommandons!

A day to remember

Hans did an amazing job accommodating our 87 year old grandma/ great grandma and mom. Well organized and safely got her on and off the boat. His knowledge of the area and sense of humour made it an amazing trip. Highly recommend and well done captain.

Saying a final Goodbye

It was a beautiful day. Just being out on the water was such a calming experience. Spreading moms ashes near Protection island where she spent much time during her youth was exactly what we wanted to do.........thank you for making this possible for my brother, sister in law and myself. I will always remember this day as a joyful one.

My husband and I enjoyed a fantastic trip to Newcastle Island as well as an island tour. Hans graciously agreed to make himself available as the ferry to Newcastle was not running. If you want a truly enjoyable experience, book with Hans.

Best day of our trip was with Hans on this boat! It was the most relaxing experience. Hans was the nicest man, had the best stories about the island, and was so entertaining. We will remember this day forever!

Ashes to the Ocean

Hans made our "Ashes to the Ocean" a lovely experience.
He made us comfortable with cushions and supplied blankets.
It was a relaxing and easy going time.

Definitely will do it again

What a blast! I’ve been to boat tours/cruises in various countries including the Maldives (Shanfari-la), the UK, Oman, and others. I enjoyed this one the most! When you see all 5/5 reviews you know there must be consistency in excellence and above and beyond service. It’s Captain Hans. He also gave us some blankets because the weather was a bit chilly.

We enjoyed his company, stories, knowledge and care. Will definitely do it again before the end of 2021 season.

10/10 sail, 10/10 super host.

What an amazing afternoon we had on the boat with the outstanding captain. If I had one recommandation to do in Nanaimo is definetly this boat tour!

Brilliant birthday treat

I booked this as a surprise birthday treat for my husband, and he *loved* it.
We had a wonderful evening sail on Shadowfax. The catamaran is beautiful.
Hans was a supremely accommodating, charming, kind, jolly and interesting person.
You feel in safe hands, and completely relaxed, like travelling with a friend.

My husband's look of joy as he took the helm was a delight. Afterwards, he said he could not have enjoyed his birthday more.
Thank you, Captain Hans, for making our day so special.
We will sail with you again.🌺
