An eclectic and classy collection , showcasing a range of artists and talents - from sculptures to glass, oils watercolor, felts tapestry, metal and bronze, and wonderful potography EVERYTHING,Focus always has a surprise and charm. Also - you can have music lessons ! an awesome place.

As a summer student at the Osprey Arts Centre, I am always sending tourists looking for a gallery up the street to the Focus Gallery, and I know they'll be happy with what they see, because Lisa always has the most interesting variety of artwork. I am always impressed when I go in.

Visited whilst on holiday and loved one of the pieces so much that upon return home, I contacted Lisa and she very kindly shipped it to England for a small fee. The process from start to finish was simple and the gift was very happily received!

Focus Gallery was a long time coming in Shelburne, N.S. - so needed. I know this because I have visited the town many times from Halifax.
There is a lot of talent in Shelburne Co. and Lisa Buchanan, the owner, is a great ambassador representing visual artists. She is dedicated to the professional arts and encourages artists in different stages of their careers, which is welcome. Lisa Buchanan is Focus Gallery. She is cheerful and knowledgeable and you will feel welcome. A fine photographer in her own right you will also see some of her own photographic panorama's gracing the walls.
The gallery is nicely appointed and can handle all sizes of art on crisp white walls in a rectangular setting.
The building itself is a sweet cornerstone to the town of Shelburne on King Street, joyfully painted to attract customers.
Just go in and enjoy a really good experience.

What wonderful place to see talent from the local artists. Top quality paintings, photos, carvings, fiber art and other surprises make this a worthwhile visit. I purchased a lovely woodcarving here, and usually see something else that I would like to own. Lovely stuff!

We love to visit Focus Gallery. It is a true showplace for local art and artists. The exhibits change regularly so there is always something new to see. The Gallery owner, Lisa is fun and knowledgable. Stop by the next time your is Historic Shelburne. It's worth the trip!

Focus Gallery exhibits art made by local artists and offers workshops to residents of this area and visitors to the community. The gallery is a hub for artistic and creative activity in Shelburne County. There is always something interesting happening here, so I recommend dropping in on your way through town. Lisa, the gallery owner, is a long-time resident of this community. She is friendly and knows what's going on in town at any given moment. So ... stop into Focus Gallery, check out some fine art and enjoy what Shelburne has to offer.
