We took the tour on Saturday. We visited 2 wineries and a brewery. Of course the Grand Pre winery has impressive tasting wine. Oldest winery and owned by Swiss family. Wines are full bodied. The Millstone brewery is also interesting. Different beers and you can elect different beer mix for tasting. Enjoyed the beers.

A nice comfortable bus ride with full Covid protocols in place. The guide was very friendly and entertaining, with information about local history, places of interest, etc. I think the visit to the wineries could have been more structured. I've done tours of wineries in other countries (Chile, Australia, California) and they were more informative with a tour of the facility, information about the vineyards, vines and grapes. Also, the small plates at most were very small indeed. We sampled a red and white wine at each (all good), The stop at Domaine de Grand Pre was the best. Our guide was a trained vintner who could answer almost all questions, we got a sizable small plate (pasta with seafood, yum) and our tasting included a bonus of ice cider (I recommend it). Even though they were hosting a wedding during our tour, we did not feel crowded or in the way. And a short walk away was the UNESCO world heritage site.

We recently did a Thursday tour and were pleased with our day. Currently, the hop-on hop-off arrangement is not possible and we knew this in advance. We felt that the company did a fantastic job of being organized, safe and considerate of Covid-protocols including wiping the bus down at every stop whenever the groups exchanged bus riding. Going in to the tour at the time of booking, it is made clear that participants will only have 1 hour at each location. We did feel a bit rushed at two locations but the day was already 5.5 hours long so not sure anything can be done about that. Don't expect lengthy wine tastings, but again, if you read the details before signing up, you should know this. It was a great introduction to four local wineries and a fun way to have a DD to get us safely from place to place. Our tour 'guide' Mike was very pleasant.

One hour at each stop entirely too long. No choices for red at some wineries a, or bare minimum at the others. Mercator is “known” for their chocolate pairing but they were out of that and reds.
Overpriced and over rated tourist trap This tour is not the way to go.

The tour itself was pretty good, debatably a bit overpriced, though the management is atrocious. If you buy wine on the tour, you have to either carry it or store it in the bus, where the driver takes your bag, puts your name on it, and then puts additional bottles of wine that you purchase in it. One of my bottles was put in the wrong bag, and I mentioned it to the guide, who said he would talk to the manager about it during his recap, and that he would get back to me.
He didn't get back to me - I emailed him a week later. He then apologized that it happened, and didn't offer to do anything about it. He then blamed me for it being misplaced, said I put it in the wrong bag, or someone else took it out of my bag by mistake (the driver collects the bags, so he was wrong about that). He then claimed that the wine I purchased from Gaspereau wasn't on their portfolio, despite it being on their main page and their selection. Absolute incompetence from the "partner/operations manager".
He was incredibly arrogant, and refused to admit any fault on the business' end, despite it being an honest and completely understandable mistake. He eventually offered us a refund of half of the cost of the bottle of wine that was misplaced. I mentioned that it bothered me that he was unwilling to admit any fault, but kept placing it on me or other passengers. In his reply, he did not even address that, simply providing clarification about the refund. A simple acknowledgement was all I was asking for, and he refused.

Don't bother for the price. They made us give the wine we bought to the driver to stow under the bus and they lost one of our bottles of Gaspereau 2018 Moscat and blamed us for misplacing it. They never apologized for the error and were very difficult to speak to about this.

Booking a bachelorette party is a headache--cancelling one is even worse! Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the bachelorette had to be cancelled. The Magic Winery Bus has a no refund policy, however David was happy to refund us due to these extenuating circumstances.
We will 100% be re-booking with him and look forward to it in 2021 :)

Very well worth the price, as it covered the transportation, the tastings and tours at five (5) wineries, including L’Acadie - adorable organic winery - which I do not have pictured here. I recommend taking the earliest departure in the morning, as you will end up having more time to spend in the wineries. Once dropped off, the bus picks you up in an hour...or you can choose to stay longer, if desired. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, which made our day as pleasant as possible. Highly recommended!

You really can't beat this tour - $50/person - full day of wine touring on a cool double decker bus with a super fun tour guide and driver. Toured 5 wineries with a minimum 1 hour stop at each or more if you wanted to have lunch - scenery was wonderful and the wineries were great.

It would be up to the group you are with and your mind set....the properties are beautiful and you don't have to taste wine at each vineyard if you don't choose to........ It's beautiful country and would still be an enjoyable day......

No AC. It is an old style London double decker. Windows do open. It was fun to travel in and the bus trip portions were fairly small time periods compared to the time at the wineries

lol, 2 years late but... You get 2+ samples at each of the 5 stops, about 2oz each. Then you can choose to enter the establishment and purchase a sampling, usually 5-7$ per flight of about 8-10oz total.
