I was there because it is one of the places to see at least once in my life and I wanted to take the family there. The country is really small. Negative has the 'ossuary that is really too far, uncomfortable to reach and all uphill. God positive has the free museum that if you want to leave an offer that deserves where they also show a short film about 20 min. and then in the square there is a trattoria where it has an excellent focaccia and meats and regional cheeses. also beautiful church.

Touching experience, in a beautiful landscape but full of sadness for the horrors of the past, the well-kept church and a place of peace but remembers the horrors of the massacre, museum full of material, climb to the ossuary through the touching way of the cross. I recommend all young people to visit it

Pochi posti mi hanno angosciato come questo, nonostante ne conoscessi la storia.
La strada per raggiungerlo non è fra le più belle, diciamo, ma la chiesa e la via crucis con arrivo al monumento alle vittime hanno meritato tutte le mcurve che ho fatto.
Unico appunto al museo che conserva sia materialmente, sia con filmati, testimonianze dei fatti eccezionali: necessiterebbe un filo in più di manutenzione visto alcuni monitor non funzionanti.
Però andateci e, soprattutto, portate i più giovani, perché questo è stato.
Solo 80 anni fa...

Credo che tutti, prima o poi, dovrebbero venire in questo piccolo paese nell'entroterra versiliese. Perché non si può e non si deve dimenticare quello che è accaduto il 12 agosto del 1944. Percorrendo la strada per arrivare, sembra impossibile che in un posto così bello, tranquillo, nel mezzo del bosco, possa essere successo un crimine così atroce. Si può visitare la chiesina, il museo e infine, percorrendo tutta la Via Crucis, il Monumento Ossario. Una visita davvero toccante.

Luogo simbolo dell'odio nazifascista. Purtroppo siamo stati di lunedì nel giorno di chiusura del museo e ci siamo limitati a salire sino al Belvedere e a visitare la Chiesa.

Nicht verwechseln! (so wie es uns passiert ist) Es gibt nämlich einen Ort "Stazzema" und auf der anderen Seite des Berges das Dorf "Sant'Anna di Stazzema".
Die Gedenkstätte ist nach längerer Serpentinenfahrt erreichbar. Wir waren die einzigen Besucher dort, also der große Andrang herrscht hier nicht, auch wenn unser Bundespräsident hier schon war.
Wer sich mit deutscher Vergangenheit auseinandersetzen will, ist hier richtig. Ein weiteres gräßliches Kapitel menschlicher Niederungen.
Neben der Kirche ist ein kleines Gasthaus mit Getränken, Eis, Kaffee und Bewirtung einfacher Sachen. Schöne Aussicht vom Monument aus (Ossario) bis Pisa über das Tal bis zum Meer.

Dal 1 marzo al 31 agosto il Museo Storico di Sant'Anna di Stazzema sarà aperto con il seguente orario:
Lunedì chiuso
Martedì: 9:00-14:00
Mercoledì: 9:00-14:00
Giovedì: 9:00-18:00
Venerdì: 9:00-18:00
Sabato 9:00-18:00
Domenica : 10:30-18:30
Dal 1 settembre al 28 febbraio il Museo Storico di Sant'Anna di Stazzema sarà aperto con il seguente orario:
