My husband and I had our reception at Carmens on November 6th, 2020 and we cannot say enough good things. Our wedding was originally planned for May 23rd, 2020 and due to the pandemic we had to postpone it. Karen and the Carmens team were amazing with communicating and accommodating while figuring out the postponed wedding date. As our November date got closer Karen reached out and offered us a second date in April 2021 to hold for us at no cost just in case.
Because we postponed our wedding only a month and a half out of our May date we had pretty much paid our deposit for 150 guests. Due to restrictions our November date we only had 50 and our deposit was way more then what our 50 people reception would cost. Karen and Andi were amazing with accommodating how to use that money within Carmens. We ended up using it to pay our parents and wedding partys hotel rooms as well as had a brunch the next morning back at the banquet centre. My husband and I did not mind at all keeping our money with Carmens because of how amazing they had been.
The night of the wedding they were once again amazing. The Maître D' came and talked to me and told me to not worry about anything because it was our night. My husband forgot his phone in the limo and they told us they would take care of it which they did. Also the food was AMAZING.
All in all not just our over all experience but COVID wedding experience with Carmens was amazing. Thank you so much to Karen, Andi and the Carmens team for making our experience the best it could possibly be.

I was here at week ago Thursday night related to the above stated titled review. Besides lots of parking, their bar is just outside of the doors to where our event was taking place. Lot's of room to meet and greet people, eat, stage presentations and hold your silent auction. One of the organizers told me they cane here as it was cheaper to hold this event compared to another banquet hall in the local area. Staff are professional and work effectively as a team in servering you your dinner. Worth checking out if your non-profit organization is looking for a professional run banquet hall to hold a future event.

large empty room -- like a rec centre-- fancy chandeliers--- seat covers with bows. I expected an excellent meal and a so so show---- we got a so so meal and an excellent show. a huge breast of chicken 1 tiny potato 3 mushrooms 1 carrot sorbet for dessert

I attended a family wedding September 7th. Not only was it one of the best weddings I've attended, but so was Carmen's, perfection all the way. The staff at Carmen's was amazing, so accommodating, professional, polite, the food was incredible. Our server Mark was outstanding, wonderful young man, he didn't miss a beat, he definitely needs a raise! Thank you Carmen's.

I have attended Carmen’s Dinner Theatre on numerous occasions over the last 5 1/2 years. The first time was in Dec. of 2012 and it was very good. The last time.I was there was in Dec. of 2016 and the meals are not as good in the past. The meat was not completely cooked through as the chicken was pink on the inside.

Attended the Beattles Tribute and the show was fantastic.The meal that was included was so so.The Pasta was very good but the chicken was very ordinary.The staff were very pleasant but service was a bit on the slow side.Having the Bar in the Lobby was a bit of a pain also,having to leave the hall to get drinks.Having said all that it is still a nice way to spend an evening.We will return.

my wife and I attend dinner theatre frequently at carmens.the wait staff are very friendly,and the food ,although of very good quality,seems not to differ much from one show to the next.this however is not nearly enough to cause us to stop attending these events.most of the time,the performances are very good,with the odd exception.we still find enough interesting acts to attract our attention.i believe our last attendance was in sept 2016,i could be wrong.

This place is really part of the history of hospitality in Hamilton. But don't expect a monument. It's a modern and elegant complex with 2 buidings. Hotel and restaurant are very good. Like many other places though, quality can decrease when it comes to big parties/events. I was at a business related event and I have to agree with other reviews that pointed out the fact that the steaks are boiled before being grilled/roasted. Thank God they are still the best in Hamilton for Italian Lasagne.

Great show! We liked too the piano man who plays a host of tunes ahead of the main show. Dinner was not bad...typical big house chicken dinner. Overall we loved the night...the crowd really got into it. Will go again.
