Love the quiet in the middle of the city.
The landscape the fall colors.
What a blessing. Whether you enjoy walking your dog, or simply relax for a bit this is the place I find to be a bit like heaven might be.

I like the Jaycee Gardens Park.
The Jaycee Gardens Park is amazing.
They have some flowers, but it's beautiful with grass and trees.
It is perfect for golfing. I don't think that they will do this.

Lovely well-kept park great for kids and walkers, with safe and lovely views. The birds are plentiful with a variety to see.

I live near Jaycee Gardens Park and use it often to either bike or stroll and sometimes walk my dog. With the bridge that was added a few years back you can also walk into Port Dalhousie. The park also allows to you to watch the Royal Henley Regatta from the cliffs overlooking the water.

So we parked here and biked over to Port Dalhousie, a great path and a lovely ride. On our way back we stopped and played that the park and had a picnic. We love this park for so many reasons.

I have a lot of memories at this park. I used to walk my dog here every night, I loved how peaceful and dark it gets, it's a nice escape from the city.
There a lot of nice flowers and plants to smell if you're visiting in the summer months which is the best time.
There's also some good fishing here if you know where to go and what time of day, if you happen to come early enough you might see some wildlife as well. I've seen turtles, herons, large snake, gar, bass and all kinds of wildlife here.
The park has a nice trail that extends over the Martindale pond and into port Dalhousie which is usually a nice walk as long as the water doesn't smell

This is an amazing park. It had trails running through it, even one that leads to Port Dalhousie and Lake Ontario. It is huge, so you could go play a sport or just find a private spot to picnic. It has a playground that my kids love. For winter fun, there is a great hill for tobogganing.

Nice big clean park with lots of picnic space and shade. We bike and rollerblade here and even play frisbee!

I have a lot of memories from this park since my parents owned a house on Ziraldo while I was growing up.
The park has changed a lot with the new walkway and bridge allowing for direct access to port Dalhousie.
I used to fish here quite a bit and it was pretty good for bass and pike. I've seen interesting wildlife here also like snakes, turtles and gar.
I love the gardens and walking my dog through here its a nice peaceful little place in the city.

I have walked from this park to port Dalouse may a times it is a beautiful part. A variety of exercise as well as there are some hills as well as flat ground great for a walk I visit there often
