Having done over 20 escape rooms, we did both Spaceship Command and Police Interrogation. Police Interrogation was unusual because it was a single room and was very minimalist in design, I liked the novelty of the minimalism but at the same time this meant that there were relatively few puzzles to solve.
Without giving too much away, we found Spaceship Command quite frustrating as there were a lot of red herrings, there was also an unfortunate malfunction of one key puzzle.
Unusually there was just one games master running multiple rooms at once. If you needed a clue, you flicked a switch and the GM would come into the room instead of giving a clue over the computer screen.

We have made over 200 escape rooms and this place is simply not the place to go. We were in the police interrogation and the space station and we were so surprised to discover that we only had 2 codes to find and its over. It's frustrating to pay that much for nothing

I am very sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your time at Escape Station. If your displeasure was presented to me at the time I would have issued you a full refund. Because that is how I operate my business, and how I treat my customers.
All that aside I struggle to fully understand your review... I cannot learn or improve anything based on reading it. It is not the least bit constructive. It sounds to me like your group escaped within 10 minutes which has never happened. It is a FACT that both of those rooms have a lot more than 2 codes/puzzles in them. I welcome constructive criticism, it is an opportunity to improve but unfortunately your review is inaccurate

This was a lot of fun. I came here with my co-workers for a night out and had a total blast. The owner was great in explaining how it works and explaining our scenario. There are currently four different functioning rooms, but he mentioned that they are working on opening a fifth one soon, and even more to come. It was a great way to bond with my co-workers while having fun and solving puzzles. You can ask for as many hints as you like (we got to five ourselves), and it just added to the fun because you weren't forced to feel stuck and frustrated. Would definitely go again!

In October, as part of a team-building exercise for 20+ of our Music students, we signed up to do escape rooms at Escape Station. We were hoping to have students from 3 different strands of Music (Band, Strings, Vocal) get to know each other and to tear down barriers between departments.
I contacted Michael (the owner) when I was first looking for a team-building activity. He was extremely gracious and welcoming. When we decided to book, he went out of his way to accommodate us and opened outside of regular hours.
Once there, I was pleased to find the venue spotless. It had a current, trendy vibe, also. This was not a shady hole-in-the-wall type of place.
Amazingly, some of our students worked so well together, they broke the record of escaping. As the other groups were still working, Michael allowed them to try another room. The other teachers and I were able to watch on his cameras to see how the students were reacting in the rooms. It was amazing to see the teamwork being displayed and the joy they shared with virtual strangers as they solved clues.
On top of this being a great team-building opportunity, the venue was fantastic, and Michael was the consummate host! He arranged a space for us to have a pizza dinner we ordered in to wrap up our time "escaping". I will definitely return with my own family/friends.

I was soo excited to find that the beaches had an escape room in the neighbourhood. Had a great time at the escape station, I have been twice now and both rooms were great fun. I have tried the spy room and the police interrogation room, both were creative and fun but the police room was a little too easy. I will defiantly be back to try the other two rooms they have.

I was greatly impressed, Rooms are artfully appointed. Clues are challenging.
Eachof the escape scenarios were very different and thoroughly engaging.

The rooms were well thought out and challenging enough. Also, this is quite a unique place as there is nothing "scary" unlike almost anything else in TO. All four rooms are based off of different skill sets. Anyways, this is among the top escape rooms in the six.

We checked this escape room out on a Saturday night. The staff was really nice. We were a little late because we had just gotten to the hotel after a long drive from NYC and this was our first activity, but the staff did not seem to mind. The problem I have with some escape rooms I've been to in the past is that the puzzles are virtually unsolvable. Even when the solution is explained to you, you think to yourself I still would not have ever gotten this. It's a pretty bad feeling that feels like a waste of money. At Escape Station, you do not get this feeling. The puzzles are definitely solvable. We didn't solve ours which was the Police Interrogation room, but that was due to our own missteps. For those who like the pure brain games aspect of escape rooms, Escape Station is the one to try.
