We were just here and it was awesome, but what's listed on this page isn't their address anymore. They're now just steps away from Eaton Centre on Yonge St.: 333 Yonge St. - Unit 2. They're not at street level; you have to go upstairs. Displays are great and change weekly. Store is very fairly priced. Admission is free. You should definitely visit.

This place is a truly great museum with an extremely wide variety of things in their collection. They have everything from real dinosaur fossils of incredible dinosaurs to mummies and ancient hominid bones to weird, mutated animals. (Slightly gross.)
They also have an amazing shop and they sell museum-worthy things. You can buy fossils, ancient artifacts, and more. Cover your ears as you come up the stairs, though, as you will be greeted by a tropical bird that screams (Yes, screams.) when it sees people.

We came here on a day trip specifically to purchase a couple of skulls. They have a large variety of oddities for sale, and some very nice taxidermy and skulls. It looks like they get new stuff in pretty frequently too. The Museum takes up about half of the space and the other half is the shop. The prices were decent for the quality. Our only issue was that we weren't allowed to purchase items and have them shipped without getting on their website and making the purchase (which we didn't have the ability to do at the time). Kind of defeated the purpose of coming in to the shop, unless we'd been able to take it with us (which we couldn't do to the size of our vehicle).

We visited this week during a trip to Toronto. We’d been looking up different things to do and we found this place on Google maps, believing it was a fossil shop. We were very pleasantly surprised when it turned out to be so much more. We met Jim who showed us to the museum entrance and were blown away by the amount of weird and wonderful items on display. Jim had so many fascinating stories about the different artifacts. My partner is the history-buff of the couple, but I still had a really good time. We both found this more enjoyable than any other museum we’ve been to. I honestly cannot believe that, at the time of writing, this place only has three reviews!

I’m a university biology professor and I found this a great little place to see some amazing specimens, including a wealth of skeletons, fossils, taxidermied animals, stones and gems, and other natural history items. On second floor of a small building in the middle of Toronto, so an unexpected find. There is also a museum store. I could have spent hours in there.

I cannot believe I lived in Toronto for so many years and did not know about this place! It's poor, current location would likely have a lot to do with this.
Their store is a bit disheveled now as they prepare for re-location. Sounds like they will be moving to the Dufferin & Bloor area, which is much more accessible.
I bought a piece of meteorite, fossilized prehistoric poop, and yellow amber with insects inside. All things the pre-date the bible and scripture!
