We had a great time with our knowledgeable Greek heritage guide. I should’ve written down her name — our tour was through Fresh Tracks Canada.
We tasted delicious bagels, spring rolls, pastry and ice cream. Sylvia (?) was fun to be with and we enjoyed the entire tour!

The guide Carol gave a very informative tour of Old Montréal. The food places sampled contained a good variety of Montréal and Québec staples; however I would recommend having something to eat before the tour because for around $70 it doesn’t leave you very full. Overall though, a great way to start exploring the city’s rich culinary culture.

We had a great tour guide. She was very knowledgeable about the area. Out of all the places we only enjoyed the food at 2. If you are wanting variety, try a different tour. Lots of sweets and hardly any savory. I would also suggest maybe going mid week when the places are not quite as crowded and hectic. We went on a Friday afternoon and it was crazy busy at all locations we visited.

Camille is a superb tour guide! She shared the history of the city with interesting details and a fine sense of humor as we walked through Old Montreal. Each food stop exemplified the tastes that make Montreal so special. Merci, Camille!

My husband and I spent a delightful afternoon with Micheline! Not only did we learn about great places that the locals frequent, but conversation with her was relaxed, good-humored and highly informative. Not only did we enjoy excellent savories and sweets, but we also learned about the history and legends behind these delectable goodies. Don’t miss this tour if you love to learn about authentic local foods!

We began our first morning in Montreal on October 4 with the taste of Old Montreal tour. Our guide Cam was super--so friendly and knowledgeable! She taught us a bit about the city's political, social and cultural history plus we were treated to some wonderful food samples. It was the perfect start to our first visit to the city and gave us great context for the rest of our stay.

What a great way to Tour old Montreal. We started out with Montreal bagels in a former bank that featured amazing architectural detail. Justin provided it with just enough detail of all the interesting sites along the way. The food just got better and better along the way and we developed a great relationship with two couples on the tour newlyweds from Buffalo and a couple from Long Island. We ended up going back to one of the restaurants for dinner and we did some sightseeing and shopping together It was a perfect day and I would recommend you asking for Justin for your tour.

This was an entertaining 3 hour tour of the old montreal. The tour guide, she was thought provoking, entertaining, engaging, inclusive, and connected the various dishes to the historical time. Only regret that I forgot her name.

Our guide, Sebastian provided an excellent tour experience this morning. The foods were both delicious and varied. His knowledge of Montreal’s history and cuisine was detailed. In addition, he responded to our particular interests and questions. We recommend this tour most highly!
