Located off ECR, near Kovalam. Ancient, clean and peaceful. This is one of the Divya desam temples. Parking available outside the temple. Clean pay and use toilet also nearby. We went on a Sunday. Reached at 7am. The main Sannidhi was just about to close, but we managed to get the Darshanam. Our relatives who came at 715 had to wait for about 1 hour to have the Darshanam and the queue got longer and longer.
Devotees pray here for marriage and child birth. For this, get 2 garlands, give them at the sannidhi. The priest gives back one or both of them, wear them and do 9 rounds of the temple. Preserve the garlands until your wish is fulfilled. Once fulfilled, come back to the temple and give the garland (whatever is left) to the temple.
A few tips:
- When you enter from ECR, there will be shops which will stop you and ask you to buy garlands and other stuff. Skip them. Proceed towards the temple. Park your vehicle , if you have one. Buy the garlands from the shop near the temple.
- The prasadam stall is inside the temple. We had Dosa, some snacks, puliyogare, sharkara pongal. Very good. and they take UPI payment.
- If possible, go on a working day to avoid standing in line.

Sent many bachelors and girls here to perform vendudal ( harike) for astrological issues regarding marriage, but with my experience around more than 15 unmarried people I suggested here, they went and got married within short span, also Lord will protect after marriage life also,
I am astrologer by hobby and never charged anyone till now, seen more than 600 people in 10 years doing like social service, with true experience unmarried people will definitely get married if you pray Lord perumal and mother lakshmi with full faith and devotion

Very nice experience and devotional. If you are planning for visit in ECR, i would highly recommend. One of 108 Divya Desam and awesome. Belief is, if youngster's who is in verge of wedding age would get married if visited this temple with blessing.

Tiruvidhandhai is located south of chennai ,around 40 kms from Central , on the ECR Mahabalipuram Road .
Without own conveyance one catch a suburban local from Chennai Park Station to reach upto Tiruvanmiyur local train station , which is so named after the great
Tiruvanmiyur Shivan Kovil which is one if the Shivsthalams along the coast of Chennai along with Tirovittriyur to the North , Tirumayilai in the Centre and Tiruvanmiyur to the Southernmost .
From the railway station Tiruvanmiyur , there is a walk of about Tiruvanmiyur Shivan Kovil , just adjacent to the Tiruvanmiyur Bus Depot .
One can find a lot of long run buses from outside the Shivasthalam entrance which help to reach Tiruvidhandhai .
Reach tiruvidhandhai, on the highway , to the right is an entry Gate and one has to walk for 5 minutes to reach the temple entrance .
It is indeed hard to imagine such a wonderful place of SriVenkateswara on the outskirts of a metro bustling with traffic and everything else .
The temple is actually a centre of a village by the same name .
Enter the temple and witness a DhawjaStambha resembling copper as base metal .
Come to second Gopuram and you entre the main temple complex .It is a small temple but so pure and powerful is the Divine presence of the Lord , one needs a Yogic power to realise .
The Lord here is named Nitya Kalyana Perumal as He is associated with a mythological belief of marrying the girls 365 days in accordance with the legend .
Hence , Perumal here is associated with the unmarried , who get blessings for a future marriage .
The Lord is in the Varaha Roopam with consort .
Parikrama Marg shows Sri Lakshmi on the Left corner and Andal on the right .
Right is another temple depicting another form of Lord and also Lakshmi.
One of the most divine experiences of the Lord , which can be experienced only by the most truest of His Bhaktas .
Tiruvidhandhai is a few , maybe 5 kms away from a popular beach destination, Kovalam .
Temple closes 8 pm , and return buses to Chennai are not not stopping outside the temple .
Lucky to find a shared auto taking to Kovalam Bus Stand which is in the other side and a couple of kms inside from the Highway .
One can have a half days trip unassisted by any self conveyance for doing the two temples i.e. Tiruvanmiyur Shivan and Tiruvidhandhai Nitya Kalyana Perumal .

This temple is famous for youngsters visiting praying for early marriage. Two garlands after Pooja is given the devotee and are to be kept at home. Once marriage happens , the couple need to come with both the old garlands for thanksgiving.

A visit to this temple is humbling as you enjoy the different avatar of Lord vishnu holding goddess Earth on his shoulders representing the care for her.

It is a very big and ancient temple considered to be the place to fulfill our marriage wishes. Young people and married couple visit this place to get married and to thank God for fulfilling their wishes. It is one of the 108 Divya desams and legacy temple. Best place for people who have obstacles in getting married. Near to Koavalam and around 18 kms away from Sholinganallur.

As per puranam, Every day God marries Goddess everyday here and hence the main deity is named as Nithya kalyana Perumal.
Best kshetra to remove the obstacles in marriages. you can see bachelors and married people doing darshan. Bachelors to get married and married people to thank god after their prayers.
If people who didn't able to go thirumanamcheri, they can go and visit this temple for removing obstacles in marriages.

Located off ECR road, this temple is about 38 kms from Chennai. Main deity is Varaha swamy, also known as Nitya Kalyana Perumal. Consort Komalavalli Thayar.
Persons whose marriages are getting delayed and childless couples throng this Temple for praying. Instances are abound of how their prayers are answered.
Even otherwise, visit to this temple is a must. The temple is well maintained and the atmosphere soothing. Pray at the moolavar, then thayar. Go round and pray at Andal sannadhi, then at Sri Ranganathar and then sit in a corner and take in the peaceful surroundings. You will experience calm filling up your mind. Weekdays preferable, as weekends are crowded.
Surrounding the temple is the pretty village of Thiruvidanthai.
Not to be missed are the Puliyodarai and Milgu Dosai, sold just outside the temple.

Nithya kalyana Perumal temple. Situated along the east coast road of Chennai. It’s about 1000 to 2000 years old. Main deity is Varaha swamy. He lifts and holds Lakshmi in his shoulder. Such an awesome sight to see and worship.
For marriage, the one who is waiting to get married has to visit the temple and get two garlands. Both has to be given to priest he will keep in lord’s feet and keep one with him and return one to you. You have to wear it and round the main temple 9 times. Then after marriage you need to visit the temple with your spouse and keep the garland in the temple.
For child, the couple needs to buy a thottil outside the temple and round the temple three times and tie it to the tree inside.
Visit on Saturdays. No special darshan. Try the kovil Milagu dosai and curd rice. Wonderful temple.

Visited the temple 2 years back and returned with garland. But my friend still not got married. What to do with the garland ?

Is it ok for the flowers to become soggy ? I performed puja at the Nithya Kalyana Perumal Temple and the priest returned 1 garland. Please advise

I don't know the reply to this specific question. This should be addressed to the temple priest.
But I would believe that one would be blessed for marriage irrespective of whether divorced or otherwise.

My daughter is away from country, marriage to happen, archanam can be done by parents.

As I gather from the priest: Any blood relation can do. Offer two garlands. After archanai, priest hands over one garland back. The blood relative to do prathakshanam of the temple 9 times. The garland to be taken home and placed in puja room duly sealed in a plastic bag. To be kept in puja room itself until the girl/boy marriage. After the marriage the young couple to go to this temple along with this garland (now dry and withered) and offer prayers and do archanai.

When I enquired the priest he told yes daily. That’s why the Perumal is named as “Nithya” kalyana Perumal. For confirmation you can call the temple number and ask.
