Well worth a visit

Arrived using previous days open bus tour pass (transport included). Beautiful cafe serving gorgeous menu of food. We only had 2 hours there and wished we had longer. Walked around and don’t want to spoil the surprises, but the history, structures, planting were amazing….. our pics are Devine, even for such a short visit. Will definitely return.

Interesting visit

We enjoyed our visit. Lots of interesting cactus to look at. The staff are also super helpful in telling us information about the surrounding area. They still drinks and there is a nice shaded area to sit in after your visit.

Très beau jardin botanique. Très bon accueil !!!! Vraiment très beau et intéressant. Possibilité d’acheter certains cactus et plantes grasses. Beaucoup d’informations et d’explications.
Dans un décore magique et verdoyant, on peut admirer toute la botanique du cactus !

He tenido una experiencia muy grata. No esperaba 2500 especies de cactus y suculentas. El resultado es un viaje botánico por otros continentes. Maravillosa naturaleza en un entorno con mucho encanto.

¡Menuda decepción!

Soy aficionada en este mundillo y tenía ganas de ir pero mi decepción ha sido mayúscula... Para empezar, fuimos a la feria de cactus y suculentas que había ahí, había tres puestos, vale que era el último día de la feria pero para eso que no lohan logrado. El sitio es espectacular pero el mantenimiento del sitio brilla por su ausencia. Plantas muertas (desde anuncien como tal. Y luego esas pobres plantas... Mira que es difícil tenerlas en tan mal estado, pues aquí lo hace muuuucho), carteles sin nada escrito o tan quemados por el sol que no se lee nada. Hasta un regalito de un perro entre los cactus 🤷🏼‍♀️, seco, vamos, que ya llevaba tiempo ahí. Las únicas plantas que estaban bien eran los cactus más grandes, pero las suculentas... Ay, que pena de sitio. Ah, y hay un Glosario con los id de las suculentas presentes (vivas y muertas) que, para no romperse mucho la cabeza le ponen "Haworthia sp" o "Lithops sp" y con eso ya cubren la mitad de las plantas 🤦🏼‍♀️
Me río por no llorar!!! Realmente decepcionante!

El lugar es increíble guapo. El museo del Cactus tiene una variedad tremenda. Después hemos disfrutado de las vistas, comido un wok y una pizza. Todo excelente.

Luego hemos visitado el pueblo que merece la pena también.

Mala experiencia. Se llevan los cactus a una exposición y ni avisan.

Fuimos a Casarabonela y como primer lugar de visita elegimos este Jardín Botánico. Cuando aparcamos el coche, incluso con la intención de almorzar allí también, nos encontramos de que está cerrado con el aviso que se han llevado los cactus a una exposición a Benalmádena. Vaya gracia!!.

Perfect for plant/succulent lovers

Beautiful place with beautiful people, we've enjoyed our little walk and beer in the lovely cafe. It was full of plants you wouldn't see anywhere else, very tall cactuses and succulents and staff couldn't be nicer! Highly recommend 🙏🏻

So so exhibits, tatty cafe

This collection of cacti and succulents is supposed to house over 1000 examples. However what we saw was nothing special and a lot of them looked identical. A pleasant walk through though. However the cafe is a disaster. The staff seem never to have heard of mint tea! The coffee was also mediocre. Will probably not return.
