The Museo Ng Republika Ng 1899 is housed in an old convent building adjacent to the Barasoain Church. The coverage extends far beyond just the events of the Malolos Congress and constitution, and covers as well many aspects of the Philippine-American War that are often glossed over or left untaught in Philippine history. Very educational to learn of the lengthy war against American occupation from 1898 and into the 20th century.

How was the Philippines at the turn of the 19th century? A visit to this museum can give you some idea. It's located right next to the historic Barasoain Church in Malolos, Bulacan. On display are dioramas, paintings, religious statues, historical photos, and other items that will bring you back in time. The building itself that houses the two-storey museum is interesting. Parking is in the square in front of the church. For lovers of Philippine history, a visit to this place is a must.
