Excellent service with a smile! The staff went the extra mile to get me the correct bike from their store 40 mins away and set it up the same day for me to take away. Shop also had the extra bits and pieces I needed. Bike price was by far best on line. Would highly recommend.

I would just like say how good Burley Cycles are,we have been using these guys for years during our holidays they looked after us for rentals & minor repairs, but these last two weeks we have been down south we have been unlucky ,we had to replace a wheel on my youngest sons (13) and my eldest sons bike had issues with its dropper post and brakes and general set up, it was complicated.
Matt with his colleagues looked after us in such a professional manner, firstly it was a new wheel which was done with out fuss, then the eldest sons issues with his ,again done with real professionalism and the price spot on. We ended up hiring two e-bikes whilst my eldest sons bike was being repaired, again a totally great service and price!
We live over 250 miles away but are here regularly I think we will use Burley cycles, I trust them and the way they do business, very impressed . My advice go no where else, and we certainly will look at buying our bikes from them too.

Staff and really knowledgeable with great customer service. I went in with a punctured tyre, and it was all fixed by the time I'd finished my coffee. The guy who served me was so helpful. Good value too.

We hired 6 electric bikes and the staff were extremely helpful! They took the time to make sure the bikes were right for each person and also recommended an amazing route. We were out for about 4 hours and it was a lovely day.

We received excellent customer service and guidance when we hired two E-Bikes. This was our first time using an E-Bike and it couldn’t have been easier. We chose the 24 mile route through The New Forest and surrounding villages and when the going got a little tough we had that little bit of extra assistance. Thoroughly enjoyed it - brilliant.

Thanks for leaving us a review, glad you had another good experience with us and our bikes. We sell the route cards to help people figure out which signposts to look out for to avoid getting lost and sticking to the designated cycle paths. We don't make them in store we have to buy them which is why sell them at the cost of a pound.

Very much recommend. We have hired bikes from here on multiple occasions and have always experienced excellent service. The staff are very knowledgeable about the trails and always happy to help, including with the setup of the bike. Excellent place with really great staff!

Great company definitely worth hiring from. The bikes were in excellent condition at a reasonable price. The location is ideal for a variety of routes all from Burley. You can purchase maps that are easy to follow and even show where you can stop for drinks along the way. All of the staff were fantastic and Oscar served us well. I’d definitely use them again.

We were greeted by Oscar as we entered to hire a couple of electric mountain bikes. Oscar was so very helpful and informative. The route recommendations were perfect for what we were looking for.
The bikes and kit we were provided with were fantastic and set us up perfectly for our 25 mile bike ride through the New Forest.
Due to how professional the company were, in particular Oscar, we will be back to try out the other routes.
We would highly recommend this company!

I think the New Forest rules state that your dog has to be under control, so if well trained then yes no problem, be aware though there are lots of dear and other wildlife, so if your dog is inclined to chase, please keep them on a lead.

I would say that either a child seat on the rear as long as a helmet will fit him or a trailer with a Kids snug in it should be suitable. If you are looking to hire then it would be worth booking as we are very busy this time of year.

My husband and i are hoping to hire bikes around 5th/6th September (Mon/Tue), should we book in advance or will there be plenty available on the day?

We will still be busy throughout September especially early on as not all the schools go back and the weather is normally still very good. It's easy to make a provisional booking online and you can always call or email us if there are any changes or cancellations, but it would at least guarantee the bikes. We take a payment on the day so we only need your details for an online booking.

Lots of people bring their own bikes down to the New Forest National Park. It is completely free to cycle, as long as you stay to the designated Forestry Commission Way-Marked tracks. We do sell route guides on our website which may be of help if this is a first-time trip.
