A fantastic experience. The moose are clearly well cared for and some are very friendly! Feeding the moose is fascinating and the staff are friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about the moose and the ranch as well as speaking multiple languages.
If you are travelling by train, it is an easy 30-minute walk from the station and not difficult to find, with beautiful lake views.

Small park with 15 elges. We were allowed to feed the elves, which is common for small and large. The park itself is small, and as an adult it is only to feed the elves, actually. We also walked around the park in the woods, but half the way you can not look into the elves, so it feels like you pay to go for a forest trip, without the opportunity to see elves.
The souvenir shop is worth a visit alone. It has a lot of nice, including some interior. The staff who worked in order were friendly and kind.
The five-year-old thought the algae park was great. It is an ok experience, which is in the middle of the average.

The cafe beneath contempt. Belgian waffles that were old, cloudberry jam was so minimal that if I didn't know it would exist I would have missed it.

Zeer teleurstellend, voor de prijs mag je toch iets anders verwachten dan een klein afgebakend veldje waarin wat jongere dieren zitten. Toegegeven, op hun website hebben ze vermeld dat er geen mannetjesdier (meer) is, maar je zou toch wel wat meer verwachten. Ook de wandeling rondom een afgebakend terrein is een tegenvaller, volgens de folder kan je er helemaal rond wat niet het geval is zonder best wel wat klimwerk. Een poortje met "gesloten" verhinderd dat je de tour kan rondmaken. Menig andere toerist is zoals ons kunnen terugkeren. Zelf gebaren ze dat er niets fout is.
Buiten de aangekondigde voedermomenten (in totaal 3 keer per dag) kan je zelfs niet zeer dicht bij de dieren komen. Gelukkig lag het op ons traject, een ommetje was het zeker niet waard - daarvoor zijn er andere elandenboerderijen (moose farms) die veel beter scoren.
De gids/persoon die info verstrekte tijdens het voedermoment wist wel veel te vertellen en was zeker bereid om op alle vragen van het publiek in te gaan in goed Engels.
Buiten de aangekondigde voedermomenten (in totaal 3 keer per dag) kan je zelfs niet zeer dicht bij de dieren komen. Gelukkig lag het op ons traject, een ommetje was het zeker niet waard - daarvoor zijn er andere elandenboerderijen (moose farms) die veel beter scoren.

Noak and Julie do a really good job taking care of the moose on ranch. The feedings were a great way to meet these majestic animals and we learnt so much from Noak and Julie. It was really special to be able to encounter moose so close up.

My boys (7 & 9) and I had a great time today at this ranch! It was an easy trip from Oslo - 2 hr 15 min by train followed by a pleasant 30 minute walk mostly along a small lake (one busy street to cross at the end). We had an hour to visit, feed, and learn about the moose. Then we went on the guided nature tour. It is an extra fee but well worth it since we weren’t at all familiar with the area. When my son tripped and cut his lip, our guide went above and beyond to make him feel better and arranged a pick up to shorten his trip down. We are already talking about when we should go back!!

it was a nice visit! the tour guide was very enthusiastic and knew a lot about the mooses! we have learned a lot of new things about these beautiful creatures! i have visited Sweden 4 times and this was one of the nicest moose parks i have been to! (and i have been to a lot…;)

This was our second visit - last one precovid . A wonderful morning spent with these majestic creatures. The staff are so friendly and informative . My husband took a real shine to the moose called Victoria who is apparently quite feisty at times !! . The small cafe serves waffles and snacks and the shop has moose themed purchases suitable to everyone old and young . A great place to take teens .

Så hyggeligt og dejligt sted. De er så gode ved dyrene og det er fantastisk at komme tæt på. Det er et fedt sted hvis man er vild med dyr og har drømme om at se elge.
