This park is located on a sandy point that juts out into the water and set between two rivers. It is a bit of the beaten path. Once again, we spent several hours just strolling on the beach/sand flats, and trying to identify all the different birds we were seeing. Walking along the sand flats during low tide is like exploring the sea floor without diving equipment. It is a true paradise for bird watchers as there are more than 200 species in migratory season.
The park protects a unique biodiversity as it connects 9 different ecosystems in one place. It is a rather exceptional environment, which allows you, by following a path of a few kilometers to see a forest of red pines, an incredible boreal forest, the second largest salt marsh in Quebec, dunes and beaches. All these ecosystems in one place.
The park offers a network of interconnecting trails that form loops ranging from 1 to 5 kilometers. We followed the longest loop so we could admire all of the ecosystems. The hike was easy, without any difficulties, and there were birds everywhere! All the trails were well marked but bring some bug spray, the mosquitos were ferocious, and watch out for those fly deer. Information panels provide detailed information, however, they are in French only. Don’t forget to bring your binoculars.
While the majority of the programming is in French, there is a great bilingual trail for youngsters that takes them through several ecosystems while solving clues to gain access to a wonderful labyrinth, all with an Alice in Wonderland theme.
If you want to learn more about the fauna and flora, or attend the stargazing evening with their astronomer, just sign up for one of the offered guided activities. On site camping is also available but, as I understand, you must book well in advance.

Nous avons fait le tour, en passant par les sentiers Contemplatif et Aventurier, ce qui nous permet d’avoir une bonne vue d’ensemble sur les différents écosystèmes. Les employés qui nous accueillent nous donnent de bonnes informations et suggestions pour la visite.
Le parc est ouvert jusqu’à la mi-octobre. Après cette date, la barrière est fermée, mais il est permis d’y randonner. Il faut stationner à l’extérieur, il n’y a alors plus de services et d’employés sur place, mais aucun frais d’entrée non plus.

Nous étions dans un nichoir (Le merle bleu), nous avons trouvé notre expérience incroyable !
Nous y reviendrons sûrement un jour !

Il ne faut pas juger ce parc par sa petite taille, il a tout d'un grand ! C'est un environnement assez exceptionnel, qui vous permet en suivant un sentier de quelques kilomètres de voir une forêt de pins rouges, une incroyable forêt boréale, des marais salants, des dunes et des plages. J'ai vraiment pris un grand plaisir en marchant dans ce parc. Les randonnées sont faciles, sans aucunes difficultés, et il y a des oiseaux partout ! A faire, sans hésiter !

Bel endroit bien aménagé au niveau des panneaux informatifs. Sentiers (très) bien définis et très accessibles même pour de jeunes enfants.
Un peu dispendieux pour simplement aller y marcher, sites de camping peu intimes mais belle vue devant les sites.
Belle diversité d'environnement (plage, milieu humide, forêt).
P.S. OUI, il y a plein d'outardes !!!!

Tellement relaxant de se promener dans ce parc de Pointe-aux-Outardes, cela vaut vraiment la peine de prendre le temps d'un pique-nique ou d'un apéro et de contempler la belle nature. Prenez le temps de vivre le moment présent!

Très joli parc au bord du fleuve avec de bonnes balades, des explications tout le long du parcours très intéressantes. Très agréable avec une jolie aire de pique-nique ou de camping.

Un parc privé très bien entretenu.
La visite peut se faire avec un guide (même prix) et dont la durée est d'un peu plus de 2 heures. Le tout est très intéressant.
Le site est enchanteur avec des vues sur un des rares marais salant.
Possibilité de pique-niquer sur la plage et de s'y baigner

Comme à la mer! Plages de sable fin à perte de vue avec ce côté naturel des berges et une tranquillité exquise!
Idéal si vous aimez prendre de longues marches sur le sable où vous laissez tenter par le fat bike à marée basse.
