A fun place to spend a few hours. Plenty to see and loads of eats. Many people with dogs, some of them snappy and yappy.

This is mostly a food market, lots of local produce and local food producers, with a few smaller stalls selling books and CDs and DVDs. There's some delicious hot food being sold here, I enjoyed the empanadas, although the corn fritter stand also looked nice, and the donuts are quite good with about 10 or more different flavours & still taste good even though they're gluten & allergen & vegan free, it's definitely worth a look & is still going strong by 12pm for those who like a bit of a Sunday sleep-in. Bring your own bag, as you might be surprised to walk away with a number of purchases to take home.

I was visiting and my friends took me out to Marrickville, near where they live, and took us to this market, on the guarantee we wouldn’t see any tourists. Well, i saw a few, but it was a great market. I got some sneakers and some pants. Success!

Amazing variety of fresh produce. The real exceptional part of the market was the whisky stand. The high quality of their whisky and selection was superb!

We like to experience local culture and a fresh food market is a good place to go. We took the bus from hour hotel down to the market.
The market had many booths selling nice looking fresh produce, vegetables, fruits baked good, etc. All of it looked really good and reasonably priced. They also had many food booths cooking up sandwiches, selling deserts also.
We were talking to a lady who regularly visits the market and she said we were the first tourists she has ever met at the market.
The market is only open on Sunday. It was busy when we attended.

All organic. Bigger than many of the Saturday farmer market. Choices of green groceries and food stall, as well as clothing and others.

農作物から花き類まで、幅広く手に入りますが、日本人が想像する欧米の牧歌的で綺麗で楽しいファーマーズマーケットです。天気の良い日にぜひ足を運んで見て下さい。値段もお手頃です。

Went there with family for a nice break from the hustle and bustle of the city center. We arrived there at around 12.00pm. That gave us plenty of time to enjoy the atmosphere, the food and the grocery shopping.
To be honest though one of the highlights was the coffee from a stall just in front of the covered flea market. Both hubby and I used to work in the coffee industry and this coffee was seriously good in many aspects, but first and foremost it was the barista!. One of the employees explained to us a few things and we got it she definitely knew the gist for making a great coffee.
TO SUM UP: go, enjoy the fun, the food and...... the coffee!!!!

we got eats, wine, and could have purchased bushels of vegetables and fruits but only had a small apt and very few days to enjoy it - this is fun go there and you might eat and shop till you drop

Take a bus from Central Station ( no.412 ) it will take you direct to the market or take a train trip to Sydenham station or New town Station then take a metro bus ( M40) it will pass Enmore Park then you can walk up to Addison Road. Take 2-3 mins walk.
