Highly recommend this school - very professional from the first call to book to returning from an amazing 2 hour hack. Very good guide - very attentive and took us over some great terrain to see some amazing views!! Would highly recommend - I rode a lovely pony Lulu who put in an impeccable performance trotting and cantering her little hooves out!!! Great fun and made to feel like just out for a hack with a bunch of friends. Very safe and very caring. Even if you are slightly lacking confidence- go for it they will all really look after you - especially their beautifully behaved horses and ponies!!

Booked a 2 hour hack for 14 year old experienced rider. Had a brilliant time on the hack cantering and experiencing the beautiful moor while we went for a walk. Really great set up at the yard and professionally organised with everything running like clockwork. Reasonable prices and highly recommended; we would certainly return for another hack.

Thank you so much for a fantastic riding experience today with my grown up son, niece and great niece age 6. All of our riding abilities were catered for safely and the horses selected for us perfectly. Such a perfect location riding straight out onto Dartmoor 😊Can’t wait to come again!😊

What can I say that hasn’t already been said. Wonderful time there today. They really do cater for all levels of experience ( mine being zero!) friendly very knowledgeable staff.

La réservation se fait exclusivement par téléphone. Ils tiennent en compte notre experience équestre afin de nous attribuer le cheval le plus approprié. Sur place, ils fournissent bombe et bottes. Le personnel est adorable et très bien organisé. On était quatre avec deux guides, nous avons pu trotter et galoper dans un cadre paradisiaque sur le dos de braves bêtes ( nous avons monté London et Trigger).

Lovely hack over Dartmoor this morning. My daughter can ride but I am a beginner, we both really enjoyed it and can’t wait to come back! My daughter was able to canter with other riders while I was happy to walk and trot!

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Ausritt durch das Dartmoor. Die Pferde sind gut gepflegt, sehr brav und gut zu reiten. Unser Guide Paige war super nett und wir haben uns gut mit ihr unterhalten. Man bekommt Stiefel und einen Helm und reitet in Gruppen mit Leuten, die ähnlich viel Erfahrung haben. Wir können es auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!

7 family members of all ages-converged on Cholwel for a riding trek over Dartmoor . I have to say it was a wonderful experience . Donna and her staff were very professional in their care and tuition particularly for first time riders . The views across Dartmoor were spectacular and the horses were very well behaved and gave it all a very relaxed feel . There was a hot drink available at the end of the trek and it was an invigorating and value for money experience .

Wonderful stables - the horses are well looked after. I went on 2 hr and 90 mins rides - both different and really enjoyable. The staff are all super friendly and knowledgable. They make sure you are kitted out safely, even help you mount with a mounting platform - check you are comfortable before you set off. Really excellent experience - tack was clean - horses clearly looked after and the views were lovely. Both rides were with a handful of people and catered for our level of experience (experienced but not particularly fit!) can’t rate the stables highly enough and I have been to a few. Thank you for making my stay on Dartmoor special.

Hi. I am interested in staying at your hotel on an all inclusive basis. I have never done an AI stay anywhere before and was wondering what I might be still required to pay for so that I can budget accordingly.
