Your family were just so fun to host! We loved how your three all found something special to enjoy, and the sight of them all helping with the farm chores, cuddling the animals and giving the mini tractors and trailers workouts just made us feel so happy! Hi there, sorry to disappoint you but we do also open for special open days throughout the year (with a few coming up this summer ) - and as you noted for farmstay guests and booked bus groups (20 or more) - and whenever we can. It makes us sad that you've given us a 1 star review as we do all we can to give people a great time when they are here and your rating may deter people from even investigating dates for open days, our farmstay etc. For your understanding, small organic/ethical farming is tough enough as it is - and opening to the public when/how we can is the way we try to inspire others to think about sustainability, organics, animal welfare, the environment, kindness etc but the federal government changed the law in Sept 2015 which means the volunteer wwoofers/Helpx (willing workers on organic farms) can no longer get their 2nd year VISA in Australia through volunteering - this has meant we have had to curtail our outreach, but we are still doing what we can with the limited resources we have. We hope you can join us one day as a farmstay guest, on an open day, for a course or with a group - and sorry we couldn't be open when you wanted to come. Bee well.
