Visita muy recomendada.. Historia contada sin valoraciones. Los restos del pueblo son grandes, no esperaba tanto. Una pena el esfuerzo de conservación que se necesita. Ayudan mucho las fotografías colocadas junto a edificios mostrando su estado original.

Explicaciones basadas en rumorología y fantasmas
Esperábamos explicaciones históricas de las cuales no hubo ninguna
Ni una fecha ni una referencia a la guerra, a los acontecimientos que allí ocurrieron
No me parece normal que una visita guiada ( la cual pagas ) se base en rumorología y fantasmas
Eso tiene que ser un añadido a la explicación

Hicimos la visita nocturna un grupo de amigos. Yo ya había estado y pensé que podría gustarles, pero lamenté por ellos no haber escogido la visita diurna. Al menos habríamos visto las ruinas a la luz del día.
La guía de esta visita fundamentó su discurso sólo y exclusivamente en rumores y leyendas contadas sin ninguna gracia. Ni una alusión al conflicto por el cual las ruinas están como están. Ni un sólo dato histórico. Nada de lo que se espera de un guía que entienda y respete su labor. Tuvimos que buscar en Wikipedia la explicación de lo que habíamos visto.
La guía de esta visita fundamentó su discurso sólo y exclusivamente en rumores y leyendas contadas sin ninguna gracia. Ni una alusión al conflicto por el cual las ruinas están como están. Be very aware that the site is essentially no more than a ruined and devastated sited. It’s story is key, and so what the guide has to tell you is what really makes this visit worthwhile.
The tour, for about thirty people is conducted in Spanish. Handsets in English (and other languages) were available, and the information is also repeated via QR codes at various stops. I have some Spanish, though not enough to keep up with the guide, but it was very clear that what he had to tell was far more than the sanitised, simplified and ‘balanced’ narrative made available to us. Reading up beforehand won’t provide the explanations of what happened during the two battles that the guide was able to give, or explain the various ruined buildings.
Guided tours are held just twice a day and must be booked in advance - easy to do on the website, although groups can make special arrangements. Otherwise the entrance gate is locked. There is ample parking at the entrance, although strangely little by way of facilities and amenities..

Llegamos 1,5 horas antes y hacía 5 minutos se habían acabado las plazas para hacer la visita y debíamos esperar 6 horas para la próxima, así que conocimos toda la parte del pueblo viejo destruido rodeando todo el lugar. Desde el exterior se ve más del 50 %. Seguramente es mejor ir por en medio de sus calles, pero con tanto calor, no podía y no quería aguantar 6 horas así. .. por internet te aseguras que entras si las compras antes... pero no lo hicimos por si llovía (anunciada y nunca sucedió).
Recomiendo la visita pero no a más de 25 grados...y menos con 34...

La visita merece la pena, 23/8/2022, desgraciadamente la guia que nos toco no era nada objetiva, se le notaba bastante su perfil republicano. Contaba solo las maldades del bando macional y se cebaba con la actuacion de lps nacionales. No mencionó el convento de monjas, ni a los quemados vivos., peto si al alcalde torturado, segun ella. Criticas a Franco por no reconstruir el pueblo y nada sobre el escarnio de los republicanos. Es mas, pone muy mal la reconstruccion del nuevo pueblo de Belchite, con alcantarillado y agua corriente. Y yo me pregunto: si Franco decidió mantener el viejo Belchite , no seria como muestra de la barbarie cometida por los republicanos? Pues de eso ni mencion. Se estan reinventando la Historia, como queda en manos de las guias de turno...

Merece la pena verlo con la visita guiada, ya que te reconstruyen la historia y te cuentan anécdotas. Es una pena el abandono que ha sufrido ya que hay zonas que no se pueden visitar por peligro de derrumbe. Es recomendable observar las fotos que hay durante el paseo entre las ruinas para ver cómo era Belchite y cómo ha quedado.

Interesante, entretenida e impactante visita al pueblo viejo de Belchite. Pasear por las ruinas en que los republicanos dejaron al pueblo es impactante. Hay que conocer nuestra historia. Y aquí la conoces sintiéndola y viviendola.
La guía lo hizo muy bien.
Hay otra visita nocturna en la que se centran en los temas de apariciones, sicofonías y fantasmas en el pueblo viejo. Antes de la guerra civil ya tenía fama de pueblo maldito.

Is there only one tour a day and do they go every day? We will be travelling from Barceona to Zaragoza on 30th April, then on to Nuevalos the next day. We woud really love to see Belchite.
