Really worth the short drive out of town to visit this hidden gem. The gardens were a mass of well manicured beds. The really well maintained station buildings and information boards gave an excellent insight into the history of Spring Bluff. The information on the construction and especially the modification of tunnels to maintain their history was fascinating and showed great foresight by the state government. It would be great to visit here on a steam train

I'm not sure if Spring Bluff is so lovingly cared for all year round, but certainly during the Carnival of Flowers it is spectacular. What a pretty spot. We went on a Monday, fairly early so there was no crowd at all. Cafe is not open on Mondays. Well worth the short trip out of town to see this very special and immensely colourful hidden gem (and some great history to read about too)

It's a pleasant drive to get there (we were surprised that we had to go up a steep hill to reach a railway line along a ridge!) and it was a sweet little station. But if you seen lots of other Victorian stations it won't necessarily float your boat to high levels. Disappointingly the cafe was closed.

What a beautiful little historic train station. I can imagine that it would look so much nicer in spring, but it didn't disappoint us. The place has two car parks, upper and lower with enough for about 18 cars in each. Might be a struggle if visiting during the Festival of Flowers. The Cafe was not operating on our visit, but there were lots of space to have a picnic. There was also a walking circuit for the much more fitter person. It would be worth a visit any time of the year. A must see, if staying in Toowoomba.

This is the second time that we have been to Spring Bluff.
Unfortunately we missed seeing the beautiful gardens in flower as the gardeners were there removing the spent flowers in readiness to replant.
We walked the track into the scrub at the back of the station. A nice easy walk.
We sat at a picnic table and ate our picnic whilst waiting to see the trains come by. This time we only saw one train which had two engines towing 43 carriages laden with coal.
On our last visit we saw many trains.
It was unfortunate that the cafe is no longer open. They had the best scones.
I believe there is a need to update the kitchen before it can reopen.
Here's hoping. I will go again as it is well worth the trip.

We stopped here to see the flowers left over from the Festival of Flowers. Lovely beds planted and interesting history of the station itself. Unfortunately, no dogs allowed.

Our visit to Spring Bluff Railway Station has long been on our to do list and it did not disappoint.
The gardens were at their peak during as part of the Toowoomba Carnival of flowers.
Definitely worth a visit during Spring.

Very pretty spot. Waited to see a train coming but not very frequent. Looked beautiful during the flower festival.
Road continues on to Murphys Creek and then links with Brisbane highway. Mush better route than all the way on the boring highway.

Not knowing what to expect when we visited this attraction, we were gobsmacked when we arrived. The station precinct is well maintained and the flowers unbelievable - a real credit to those who plant and nurture them.
I accept that we were there at the height of the Toowoomba Festival of Flowers, so the display was at its peak, but I’m sure the dedicated staff have impressive displays at other times.
We will certainly be coming back next time we are in area.

A quaint and well kept little historic train station. They have an interesting photo gallery to view the flood damage from 2011.
