On a father and son trip and stopped by. Heard of Bletchley Park and was blown away by the accomplishments of these WWll people in deciphering and cracking codes. Great information by staff scattered throughout the buildings. And they all kept it secret for 30 years after the war.

This was our first visit to Bletchley Park but won’t be the last!
On arrival we were given lots of advice on the best way to approach our “tour.’ There is so much information to absorb that it’s best to allow plenty of time. We spent over 5 hours on site, including a free hours tour of the site explaining the history of the estate and what the different buildings were used for.
The volunteers are so friendly and very informative, it was a truly remarkable day.
There are plenty of dining options to suit all diets in the restaurant, reasonably priced too. The grounds would be perfect for picnics on a warm day too.

This is a must see for anyone interested in WWII history, cryptography, or the history of computing in general. For some crazy reason, you don't see it listed as a day trip from London, but it is a simple 35 minute, three stop train ride from Euston Station, and a five minute walk from the station. You could easily spend the day at Bletchley, though we were a bit strapped at 2.5 hours as we had to get back to London. The information was voluminous, spread across multiple buildings. Whether interested in the many types of code work done during the war, or the Enigma/Bomb work of Turing and others, Bletchley covers it. My only recommendation would be to have a video or information at the very beginning on all of the activities that occurred there, and how they inter-related. It was a bit hard to put all of it together. We loved that understated, original look. Also, don't miss the mansion. Lastly, the volunteers were very knowledgeable and helpful in answering questions.

Had the most fascinating visit to Bletchley Park. Had a guided tour which was so informative would highly recommend it and at no extra cost.
The staff were all so knowledgeable answering questions found it very interesting. Mervyn in the radio hams was amazing his knowledge at telling us how the amateur radio hams were vital in the enigma coding process.
There is so much to see and take in, a very impressive visit and did not get to see it all so will be returning as your ticket valid for the year.
Was so good went home to watch the film about Alan Turing after reading about him during the visit at how he cracked the enigma.

I've wanted to come and visit for a few years since I participate in 'Operation Bletchley ' twice a year. At £24.50 it may seem expensive but that includes a ticket valid for one year and so you can visit as many times as you want..so it makes it such good value. The visitor centre is where you start with a short film to watch then you can either sign up for a guided tour or do your own thing- with or without headphones giving you info along the way. We called in all the huts and displays that we could...calling into the mansion and the garages too. We had a cake & drink in the Cafe and then bought some gifts in the shop. We spent 4 hours there but you could easily spend more.... lovely lake area outside the mansion....we will go again.

Dietary options need to get better. As local residents we love Bletchley Park and often go to their events. Unfortunately they tend to take quite a binary approach to catering to diets. You're either a full vegan or you're a meat-eater, there is not much in between with them. If you're pescatarian, celiac, dairy-free, vegetarian or any of the diet types in between then you're basically stuck with vegan offerings. And you'll have to make a special request just to get that far.
We have had to pass on a event we really would have loved to go to because of this quite limited approach. We did try to make contact to discuss the dietary needs but the correspondence was not very good and they didn't seem to understand what we were asking, even after several emails back and forth. We basically asked if one starter could be replaced and the response we got was "Sure!". Naturally, we followed up to saw "with what?" (not sure why that wasn't provided to start with!) and then they said "oh have the vegan menu, this is the main". Well we didn't want the vegan menu. Also, what has the vegan menu got to do with swapping out a starter on a normal menu? Very confusing.
We ultimately have had to book a different event at another place. I wonder how many other customers are left disappointed and taking their business elsewhere because of this one dimensional approach to dietary requirements? The world does not fall into two neat camps of "eats meat" vs "is vegan". It feels ridiculous to have to point that out in 2023.

My boyfriend and I love history, especially WW2 and so we had been keen to visit Bletchley Park for a while. It did not disappoint! We arrived at 12pm and when I saw how much there was to do, I was worried we wouldn’t have time to see it all. But thankfully we got round all of the exhibitions (we left after 4pm). It was so interesting to see how those at Bletchley contributed to ending the war and the range of huts gave us a deep insight into how things were ran. There is a lot of reading, which we don’t mind, but could be overwhelming for some, however there are audio guides and free guided tours available! The D-Day cinema was also enjoyable and informative, and gave us a brief rest from walking round! Would definitely recommend a day here, we thoroughly enjoyed it!

Good value for money. Lots of information to read and things to see, very well done videos around the site, great for kids to learn about British history. Very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly staff. Good restaurant with good range of food at good prices. Nice shop. Look forward to going back.

It’s amazing to learn the extent of intelligence work that was done in WW2, there is just so much to take in, don’t rush we were there 3 hours + and it was a repeat visit.

So much to see and do we went back a second day! On our first day we were there 6 hours and on our second a further 3 hours. Do take the guided tour as it sets the scene and brings the stories to life. Then go to the excellent new Block A exhibition. Unfortunately, we ran out of time on our first day and didn’t do it justice so had to return. After that go to the mansion house and huts as you will be able to move through them more quickly than we did having done Block A first. If stopping for food and drink I would go to the restaurant near the mansion which has more choice and is served on china plates with proper cutlery (great home made soup) rather than the one at the entrance which is all in disposable cups, wooden spoons etc. Being able to return for up to a year on the same ticket makes this excellent value for money. The volunteers who run the tours and man the exhibits are informative and friendly. (Shout out to Ken who did a great job on a bitterly cold day). Amazing achievements of some very clever people that need to be remembered. A great day out

There seemed to be plenty of parking when we visited. It was marshalled too, so I don’t think there will be a problem.
We are visiting on 31st October. We have pre booked tours but there are 51 of us arriving together about 11 wanting coffee or an early lunch or snack will your catering facilities be able to manage that number all at once?

Better to contact direct. We were a party of around 40 and there wasn't a problem but we were pre booked.
Hello! I'm coming from the USA in the middle of September for work nearby and would like to visit. My husband's late father was very involved with USAAF activities in Britain during WW2. Do I need to book in advance or can I do it the day of?

Hello, whilst I seen people paying on the day it did appear to get busier in the afternoon. I would book so you know you have your slot. Pack a little picnic as it could be a long day as there is so much to see and read. It really is worth a visit though as we found it absolutely fascinating. Enjoy your trip to the Uk.

Do you have to show and scan your ticket before parking? I ask because I have a joint ticket but my friend and I are travelling from different directions and in separate cars.

We went on a Wednesday (early June) and it was very quiet. I've heard from friends that they get a lot of coach parties. If you get there before the Covid restrictions end, there shouldn't be any. Hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Regards, Mike.
