Friendliest people in all of Ireland. Great music, lots of love and laughter in here. Speedy sets the tone as the owner. He is also known as a notorious dancer having won a disco dancing contest nearby in the early '80's.
Grab a stool, a Guinness or a Smithwick's, and you will really feel like you have come home. Pool table in the back and grocery store up front.

A weekend of music here at Traynor Fleadh festival. Musicians from all over came to enjoy some singing with every type of instrument. Great to see enthusiasm from musicians at this level. Pub is a step back in time and comes with a warm and friendly welcome. Call 8n for a drink if you are passing and you will see for yourself.

Lovely old style Irish pub that doubles up as a grocery store. Lots of great photos and pics of yesteryear dotted on the walls of the bar, sat up at the bar which was surprisingly quiet for a midday saturday afternoon, only two other customers. Ordered a Smithwicks, served nice and cold by the friendly bar lady.
The type of bar you can spend some time wandering around admiring all the old artifacts on display, and taking in the special homely atmosphere that only an old Irish bar like this can give off.
Would love to visit when they have a bigger crowd in, perhaps nearer the evening, alas next time.

This is a lovely, quaint, friendly establishment where the old style challenges the new and the quiet of a lovely pint blends into the happiest of days . Later , in the evening happy banter and familiar faces are often cajoled into song and dance by the impromptu musical sessions that are spoken of near and far.
