How far in advance do you need to book? I guess it all depends on their current bookings but we were able to get a reservation for the same day Is it possible to run off of a cliff? Where you take off all depends on the weather, their #1 priority is safety. With that said, this is the most exhilarating experience I have ever had (better than sky diving) and these guys definitely know how to have fun. Do you fly over the lakes or just the trees (like in the pictures)? Where you end up going all depends on the weather but you get high enough to appreciate it all, trees, lakes, mountains, birds, houses. Interlaken is not large so you will get a great flight from pretty much anywhere.

Good day, Toby from Bumblebee here. We have a lower take off that is good for a strong west wind. It takes off right above the road. If that wind does not exists you will have a very short flight. So we normally fly from the higher take off and fly into town. At the worst you will fly 10-12 minutes. If the conditions and winds prevail we can fly beyond 20-30. A lot depends on mother nature..Pilot skill and good timing help! Hope this helps..

Hello Purnima, We booked through the group "Outdoor-Interlake" (just google the name for the website) and paid $234 USD. We also each spent 40 euros to purchase a video and picture package. All of this money was well worth it as you can only hangglide in about 7 places world wide.
