We really enjoyed the tour, it was both very interesting and informative. Leon, our host was great, providing insight into both history and methodology of brewing in a humorous and entertaining manner. The brewery is in a beautiful spot of the Cotswolds. Finally the beer was superb.

Really great afternoon visiting the brewery. We got the bus up from Chpping Norton , had lunch before doing the tour. Food in the restaurant was lovely and service was great.
We met our tour group and Leon , our guide in the museum. Leon was really knowledgeable and very funny keeping, managing to keep everyone engaged in the history of the brewery, Before the all important tasting session ofc.
Fortunately the bus stop is right next to Pear Tree Inn for a few more scoops before heading back home for a nap 🤣
Would definitely recommend a visit

A really interesting tour, the history of the brewery is fascinating, and Leon our guide brought it all to life and was very entertaining. Add to that a very generous tasting at the end, and it really was a great visit. Highly recommended. We also had lunch in the on-site restaurant and that was also fab, great food and service.

Excellent tour of the brewery. Leon our tour guide was very entertaining and engaging. Was very knowledgeable on the history of the Brewery and the brewing process. Can highly recommend the Restaurant and the choice and quality of the food was excellent and the staff were a pleasure to deal with and made our group very welcome. If your a Horse lover you must visit their 3 Shire Horse's. The only one peace of advice I would say is there is a lot of steam steps! The tasting session in the cellar area, was very atmospheric and a good selection of Hook Norton beers to sample. Would go again

The history of the place was put over so well by our guide Leon. It is a fascinating place and the food and of course the beer is very, very good. As is the lager!!

Really interesting and entertaining tour by Leon. It was fascinating to learn about both the history of the family-owned brewery and the beer-making process. We were impressed by the company's and staff's commitment to supporting Ukraine through the charity set up by the MD. The visit experience gave us a very positive view of the company as an employer and business. The Malthouse Kitchen cafe had excellent food and the shop had a large range of useful and attractive items as well as the beer.

Wonderful trip around a traditional independent brewery. Surprising the quantity of ale produced on such a small site. Tour was very informative and interesting to see how much of the original equipment was still in use. Very enjoyable beer tasting at end of the tour. Lunch in their restaurant was also very good. Highly recommended if you're in the area.

What a magnificent building and superb tour .Our guide Monty was excellent .Witty and informative. The beer tasting was really good and the beers of course wonderful .

A very knowledgable guide who also had a nice sense of humour. We leant all about the beer brewing process and the history of the family who have been running the Brewery for generations. They seemed to really care about their staff which is rare these days. You will need to be fairly fit to do the tour as there are a lot of steep stairs to climb. We had lunch afterwards in the restaurant with good food and excellent service.

Great tour and an excellent knowledgeable guide with humour and facts, the time flys by. Great tasting the beers in the cellar after. Brewery shop well stocked, helpful staff. Cafe food was wonderful, you might expect an experience of "well we will add a cafe with a bit of food as people are coming for the beer" NOPE the food and service from the staff was excellent too; go just for the food and pick some bottles of beer, gin and local artesian produce too. Living locally too this is my 3rd visit in a month but first for food and a tour. Will be back soon too.

The shop, Malt House Kitchen and museum / visitor centre can be visited when open without charge.
There is a modest charge for a guided tour of the Victorian brewery which is NOT suitable for anyone with mobility issues as there are over 100 steps to ascend and descend.
You cannot visit the brewery itself without a guide due to health and safety laws.
Pre-booking is advisable weekdays and almost essential at weekends.

I wouldn't think so. The Brewery is very narrow with steepish steps only 1 person per step.
