Coburg Lake Reserve is a great open space for a picnic, it has a BBQ and other facilities. The Coburg Lake Reserve is a welcome area of open ground in this densely populated suburb, The birds, especially the ibis, can be a nuisance, if necessary you can shoo them away. Please don'r drink the lake water.

Coburg Lake is a grassed area with lots of places to walk or have a picnic, with BBQs and tables with benches. The lake has many water birds, including ducks and lots of ibis, which can be a nuisance. This is a pleasant oasis, in the middle of this industrialised suburb, that suits the whole family.

nice walk for some exercise, next to old Pentridge. Free but time limited parking rg 4 hours which is plenty. Water features, picnic tables, lots of water birds

Great place to get out with the family and spend the day. Would recommend to everyone. There are a number of little walks around if you look out for the signs.

I have attended Coburg lake with work. It gives you time to reflect. The lake is clean safe. The BBQ area is clean . There are many different areas to go to the grass and trees are well maintained. The ducks like to be feed.

A very clean park, a few tables , lots of benches and a number of BBQs around. We used one of the bbqs, they aren't great but will do the job. Check before use as one didn't work. Lots of free parking, plenty of room for running around - all great.

Most of this park is lower than the road so we were pleasantly surprised when we decided to check it out. The lawned area is wide and includes toilet block - very clean - gas bbqs, and flat and shady places to picnic. The paths continue along the creek for further than we had time to explore. There are also water birds and places for kids to clamber over.

Decided to go for a morning walk with my partner and since we both had not been to Coburg Lake, we have it a go! Very lovely big reserve! There are BBQ sections, kids playground (yes I did play on the flying fox!), great walking/bike patch’s throughout and an out door gym! Will definitely be back

Played & swam there as a kid with my brothers & kids from around the streets in Coburg, had a reunion there about 25 years ago it was always a great place to be now 78 yrs old & when I go across from Perth to see our old house in Connelly Ave visit there every time MY OLD STOMPING GROUNDS
As we walked from our street down to there , there was a chinese garden we used to buy our Vegies from. I was friends with the 2 daughters who went to Bell Street school with me
