Hi Otto, Thank you for your question! The trickiest part about accommodating those with mobility issues is boarding the boat. Boarding usually involves climbing three stairs, so if we can assist your wife in doing so, she can be accommodated. After that, she can remain seated while we are travelling, and she should be comfortable. When we are with wildlife, we tend slow down considerably, which would let her move around more easily. Seabreeze does offer pick up service, not sure from where. I also think they started charging for the pick up service last year. I don't know about the luggage. You can call them and ask: +1 604-272-7200. They are very nice and I'd be surprised if they didn't accommodate you. Dumb question: could you leave your bags on the ship? Or, is this your port of disembarkment? Another thought: if you want to experience Vancouver like a local, you could try publict transit from the Vancouver City Center Depot (There's also a main stop near the cruise ships). We found the train and bus systems to be safe and convenient. Google Vancouver Translink for more details. We did take the bus to Richmond, b/c we wanted to get there early, walk around and eat on the docks. It made the day far more pleasant. The staff did let us come by early (we called ahead to ask) and drop off our bags so we didn't have to lug them around with us.
