It is one of the flavour shopping mall in midland , with amazing redevelopment begin in 2019 , know as Richmond Square in the 80's . lot of free parking , very convenient location , Canada Line , buses in walking distance , about 200 stores from high end to moderate , very safe , spacious , comfortable environment , lovely place just for windowing shopping or foodie to shopaholic shopping and beautiful Food court on the second flours , you can easily spent a day here . so if you visiting in Vancouver and do not forget to visit Richmond , got to drop in and check this mall .

We love Uniqlo so wanted to go to this mall. There was ample parking and a nice selection of stores. They had mujji as well as standard stores.

Easy Access, Great Location

Been about two years since I stopped in for some shopping. Appreciate the consistency. Always clean; space frames ensure always bright; just enough traffic to give a feeling of vibrancy without feeling crowded. Some 200 outlets means great selection.

It has been over a decade since we have been in Richmond Center. Wow! What a change. Good changes.

Whether it is the Dining Terrace or the overall upgrades, it is a far cry better than before.

Quite a few luxury brands are now present, still a funny layout but a great experience nonetheless.

Many international stores are present.

Positive shopping experience.

This Mall was so bright and clean inside! It felt spacious and safe. Hand sanitizer available, floor markers to dictate which direction to walk to keep safely spaced apart, free parking (a bit tricky in the summer where there was reduced parking due to construction). The food court is on the second floor while all of the retail stores, larger restaurants (Cactus Club Cafe, White Spot ) and services (dental office, optician, insurance company, phone companies, etc.) are on the main floor. The big stores here are HBC, Sport Chek, Zara, H&M, & Shoppers Drug Mart. Some Asian stores to note: a large Uniqlo, Maxim's Bakery, The History of Whoo, Shiny Tea, and Lao Feng Xiang Jewellery. We came to make a purchase at The Apple Store and the shopping experience at the Richmond Centre was great. I would definitely recommend shopping here. Close to public transit and clearly wheelchair accessible.

As we unwind from Covid, it is interesting to see how different business owners react to the post Covid era. Here we find a good example of how to do things properly. The parking lot is about half full on a Monday morning - a good sign people feel safe here.
Doors well signed re "In" and "Out". Hand sanitizers available in various spots. Lots of spacing in the Food Court. "Walk on the right" well signed, and well respected by the customers (well, most of them).
Easy access whether driving or using public transit. I enjoyed my brief shopping trip, and suspect you will too.

A Solid Shopping Destination

While it has its origin in Richmond Square Shopping Centre, the mall we know today as CF Richmond Centre came to be in 1989, following the amalgamation of Hudson’s Bay store with Richmond Square. In the 30 years since Richmond Centre’s birth, the mall has shifted, morphed and modernized with the times and now plays host to over 200 different shops and services. Thus, there’s sure to be something here to please all members of the familia.

In terms of layout, I think Richmond Centre is somewhat unique in that it primarily consists of a single floor, less the Dining Terrace and part of the Hudson’s Bay store. In short, escalators are at a minimum and the mall is therefore easy to navigate for those who might have difficulty traversing moving stairs like escalators. In some respects, I think this (mostly) single-floor layout makes the mall a lot easier to explore – and easier to find the store you’re looking for.

I’ve been fairly critical of most malls in the Greater Vancouver Area because, to my mind, they’re all practically the same when it comes to stores and tenants. CF Richmond Centre does not escape that criticism. Yes, they have over 200 stores, including a few “exclusive” shops, but most are cookie-cutter and you could find them at any other large shopping centre in the GVA. Think Pacific Centre or Metrotown, for example. That said, some of the more noteworthy shops in Richmond Centre include:

RESTAURANTS: A&W, Cactus Club, KFC, New York Fries, Starbucks, Tim Horton’s and White Spot.

SERVICES: Affinity Dental, BCLC (Lotto), and Air Plus Hair Salon.

STORES: American Eagle, Apple, The Body Shop, Hot Topic, Hudson’s Bay, Indigo, Journeys, Little Burgundy, Lululemon, MUJI, Old Navy, Purdy’s and Soft Moc.

In short, CF Richmond Centre offers a healthy, albeit pretty standard, variety.

I do appreciate the Dining Terrace. Located on the second floor, this area of the mall plays host to the majority of the eateries on site. Despite the usual hordes of people, the space is large enough to comfortably accommodate everybody. Indeed, this is definitely one area where Richmond Centre trumps Pacific Centre.

When we visited Richmond Centre, we did so just as the Holiday season was ramping up. As such, the mall was extremely busy, but remained a joy to explore thanks to the festive spirit on clear display: The giant moose sculpture in the main concourse was a definite crowd pleaser and demanded many a selfie be taken. Ditto for the handsome glittering reindeer display just outside Hudson’s Bay. And, yes, we did find many a nice gift to put under the Christmas tree!

Since our visit, the world has had to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic. I’ve seen pictures of Richmond Centre and other malls in recent days and, well, they look like ghost towns – a far cry from our holiday visit. However, once all of this settles down, I do recommend checking out Richmond Centre. The physical layout is friendly and the number of shops ensures variety.

In the heart of downtown Richmond, the mall offers a very good selection of retail stores and services. The food court upstairs always has a good selection of food places and there is always ample seating available. As well there are several formal sit down restaurants on the property. If you are parking, there are 3 main areas that will give you easy access to the mall. As well, Hudson Bay is attached to the north entrance with parking also.It is one of the best shopping centres in the lower mainland and there is the Canada Line station across the street for easy transit use.
